In all seriousness, if you're sold o. Brose motor and nothing else would do (I've destroyed 3 in 2 years on my Bulls bike) then go for one with Internal Gear Hub. With IVH you can change gear at standstill.

Make sure the magnet is both clean and positioned correctly.
