    Convert From Derailleur to IGH?

Just came in. I'll let you know how it feels with the BBSHD once I figure out what length spokes I need.

    Modification options for BBSHD?

So I bought this. I was getting annoyed with my 10 speed derailleur. Frankly 10 speeds just felt like too many. It came with an 18t cog but I think I'm going to switch it out for their 24t instead. So the bike will have a 44t chainring and 24t rear cog. Doing the math from SA my 3 gears should...

    Convert From Derailleur to IGH?

I wish I could explain it but some of the math doesn't add up for me either. What I do know is my chainring is 44t and the rear cog will be 18t which means my SA SX-RK3 in 2nd gear (direct drive) is a 44/18. It is said the steps are 33% which makes me think I take 33% of 18 which is about 6 and...

    Convert From Derailleur to IGH?

I and currently planning on an SA SX-RK3 conversion for my Juggernaut HD still in the early stages but have the igh ordered now it's on to chain, tensioner, and spokes. I'll post here with updates, successes or failures.

    Bafang Ultra (and BBSxx) Tuning

I mean I can vouch for this. Their page has the explanations of throttle inputs backwards for current vs. speed.

    Modification options for BBSHD?

What about chainrings? I've brought this up on other threads but if I wanted to start small and work up to the big stuff I figured this is the part to start with. Currently the bike has a 44t chainring and a 10speed Shimano cassette 11-42 riding on 26x4.8" fatties. I've done some testing on top...

    BBSHD X1 please!

They would have to be parallel right? Running them in series would equate to 104v. You bring up a good point I had forgotten about. Thank you. 2 batteries in parallel each with 30 amp peak discharge equals 60amps peak discharge. I'm back to square one again! Ok @pushkar whenever you are ready I...

    BBSHD X1 please!

Well I have that newer bbshd controller firmware that caps max amps at 28 not 30. Also the controller has nominal voltage of 48v (I have tried changing those settings with a programming cable and the software but it will not let me alter it). Not really certain but I'm under the impression my...

    Chainring selection

I'd like to jump in here with some related questions. I've had my ebike for about 2 months now. Biktrix Juggernaut with BBSHD 10speed Shimano 11-42. I'm a fat boy and this bike struggles to get to and maintain 30mph in my top 3 gears. I've seen 6th gear hit 30 on the flats so would dropping my...

    BBSHD X1 please!

Ok thanks for that image 😖. Frankly I'm not interested in trying to convince someone to sell me something, they apparently don't want to sell. I'd rather wait for Pushkar to develop something. In the meantime since I have some time to kill before there is a WW BBSHD X1, anyone on here know...

SHOW us YOUR PIX here .... Odd, WeiRd ,UnUSuAl or EyE CaTchIng things from your rides

So the Z1 has no pedal assist and it is a 1 speed. This thing is not made for pedalling nor is it made for distance riding at 36v12ah. In fact all Super73 bikes have a very awkward seating/pedalling position. You are leaned forward a bit but the pedals are also very far forward of the seating...

SHOW us YOUR PIX here .... Odd, WeiRd ,UnUSuAl or EyE CaTchIng things from your rides

Wife just got her Super73 Z1. Took our first ride around the neighborhood to get a feel for it. Mine is a Biktrix Juggernaut HD Duo (second battery not in photo). My bike also has the Mac-Ride child bike seat for our 3yo. So it was a whole family affair. The Z1 is so small! Feels like a kids...

I have too but that was also a couple years ago. Must be a new policy 🤷

    Dead quiet.

Check out all 3 riding together. There is some noise but from what I understand it may be comparable to the noise you get from a hub motor. Without knobby off road tires it may be more noticeable on your cruiser which should have some quiet street tires on it. Great looking bike.

    BBSHD X1 please!

Yeah I contacted Luna about getting their controller. Their response "have to buy a bike or at least the motor from us to get the controller" I already have a bike and a motor so that was out of the question.

    BBSHD X1 please!

@tomjasz you got a link to your shop? Take online orders? May like to start supporting frequent users of this page rather than unknown internet shops. I assume you keep a healthy supply of BBSHD parts and other basic bike components?

    BBSHD X1 please!

All I see on their website is conversion kits. I already have a motor. I just want a controller. An integrated controller. Not interested in tacking anything else on to the exterior of the bike. It feels too cluttered as is. But thank you for the link 👍
