    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

I hear you. Given their small size, and the fact that I am in NYC, I am just trying to do my best to avoid even the small likelihood that I have to return their bike. You feel bad doing that to a small company like them that doesn’t have the margin to absorb it. Again I am not saying suck it up...

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

they said no test ride. Tribeca store is only for contactless pick up. I am going to ask them if it is possible to at least see the bike there before ordering it. May be a bike that’s ready for delivery to another customer.

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

Looks good to me. It check off almost all the boxes for me. Curious to see what the weight is. I actually think it is much better looking than Evelo Aurora. Have emailed them to see if I may be able to test ride in their Tribeca store.

Citi electric bike in NYC - Motor power?

Does anyone how how powerful is the Citi electric bike motor. Have been enjoying riding around the town. Thinking of getting Ride1up Roadster v2. But don’t want it to be underwhelming in terms of motor power compared to Citi bike.

    Colder weather clothing

Any good pant recommendations for an ebike? I generally ride around 20 -25 mph and even though it’s in 60s at the moment, it can feel chilly. Not looking forward to the temperature dropping to 40s and lower.

    What Are We Paying For?

I have often wondered the same thing as to why some of these ebikes are so expensive. And I am not talking abut bikes with things like carbon frame. Just a decent looking bike with 600w of battery, 300w of motor, decent front suspension and no quality issues. That thing is over $3000. Here is an...

My new bike: 2020 Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625

Hi I have been looking at Cube Kathmandu bikes too and comparing them to Gazelle and Bulls. To OP and others interested in Class 3 speed, in EU that’s known as S-pedelec class. Cube Kathmandu has only one model that can go to 45 Kph (ie 28 mph). It’s Cube Kathmandu 45. That’s the only model...

Help me do an objective comparison of three bikes: Aventon, Dost and Gazelle

Court, in that higher price point I was wondering how would Gazelle compare to Bulls and Cube. They all have Bosch 4th line performance motor and tube batteries. I believe all have Shimano Deore, though some of cube models go upto 12 gears.

Help me do an objective comparison of three bikes: Aventon, Dost and Gazelle

Thanks Court for chiming in. You nave already hit upon a few things that are appealing about Gazelle. eBike from a company that’s first and foremost a cycling company, lighter weight, doesn’t stick out like an ebike and hope for future service.

Thanks. I have 4 very different bikes in my short list right now 1. Juiced Cross a Current S2 2. Dost Kope 3. Gazelle Medeo T10 4. Specialized Veda 4.0 it seems most of the large bike manufacturers don’t really do throttle. Is that because of reliability issues or is that because throttle...
