    Premio Sport 6000 mile update.

I’ve had this bike for two years and I’ve put on 6000 miles. The motor is still whisper quiet and the frame is still rattle free even though most of my riding is on incredible bumpy streets and side walks in Chicago, where I live. I just heard the brakes and tires checked and there is no need...

    Latch 5000mile update

After 3 1/2 years and 5000 miles my Pedigo Latch is still going strong. Breaks and tires are original and still don’t need replacement. I ride it all year long in Chicago on incredibly rough roads and sidewalks. Great bike. Ed

    Motor upgrade

I use my active line + ebike a lot. 5k miles in 18 month. At some point the motor will need to be replace. Could I replace the motor with a performance line motor?

Premio a sport 5000 mile update.

Nothing new on my bike after 16 months and 5000 miles. The motor is still whisper quiet and no rattles from the rest of the bike. The breaks, tires and chain are showing little ware, and the battery still gives me at least 50 mines on 4 of the 5 bars of battery charge. The suspension seat post...

    One motor, several versions

Bosch was able to substantially boost the torque on its performance motors with a software fix. No hardware changes were necessary. Maybe the torque differences on all their motors can be attributed to software not hardware. Build a motor that simply use software changes to make it appear there...

    Motor differences, physical or software.

Are the power differences in performance and active line motors caused by physical differences or are they software driven?

    Latch 4000 mile update

During the pandemic, it hard to keep active, but I found a way, and the Latch was central to that effort. Most mornings, this summer, I would fold the latch, throw into the trunk of my car, and head for one the numerous river bike trails that we have here in Chicago. Once there, Lady, my dog...

    Belt verses chain

A belt will probably last longer than a chain on a bike with a cassette and derailer, but I don’t think a belt will last longer than a chain on a bike with gearing with an internal hub. I’ve had bikes with chains an internal hub gearing that has lasted 11 years without needing a new chain, and...

    Premio Sport 4000 mile review

I’ve had the bike for a little over 1.5 years. After 4000 miles the motor is still whisper quiet and no rattles from the bike frame. So far I’ve had absolutely no issues with the bike. The tires, grips and breakers show very little ware. Great bike. Ed

    Premio sport 3000 mile update

After 1.5 years and 3000 miles, I’ve had absolutely no issues with the bike. No loose spokes, no bike part rattles and the motor is still whisper quiet. I love the Bosch power pack. It is so easy to attach, remove and carry. The power tube may make a bike look better, but the extra effort when...

    Latch 4000 mile update

After 2.5 years and 4000 miles. I’m extremely satisfied with the bike. Had some issues at 1000 miles with a squeaky belt and clunky internal hub, but Pedego customer service was quick to solve those problems. I’ve folded and unfolded the bike about 100 times with no issues. The only think I did...
