    World War III

I'll suggest the next step. Anyone in the tar sands oil patch of Alberta under the age of say, 25, should be paid by the oil companies to train in a new field, be it renewables or otherwise. The roll needs to be slowed. We don't need further generations of people on the oil companies' tits. I...

    Coaly Rollers

You’re correct. It’s going up our way and overseas out of Roberts Bank. (Delta Port) I recall it had something to do with it not being able to go out of US west coast ports, like we want anymore coal rolling over the rails up here. People up here aren’t happy about it, well, the exception being...

    World War III

I'm with you. I've read far too many accounts over the years like Russian air force crews robbing alcohol from aircraft systems rendering planes unusable. Shortages of everything. Stories of having to cannibalize parts from all types of weaponry to keep a modicum number in service. Auto loaders...

    World War III

I concur. This pretty much puts an end to the old Cold War Era worry of numerically superior Warsaw Pact armour divisions flooding through the Fulda Gap and overwhelming NATO's western European defenses. It now looks as though the Russian military today is pretty much incapable of organizing a...

2022 Turbo Vado SL 5.0 Garmin 530 power cadence

Back in the '80s I used to get a magazine regularly that was all about Pro riders. I forget the title. I remember an article in one issue regarding Greg Lemond's training rides. His food intake was simply astounding. The story went he could convert absolutely anything into energy, and did. CN

    Good Stuff You Bought

Handlebars....you're right. I just bought a couple online. The Bay close to me is great, (they all are) but it's likely better to find my size online. CN

    How to expand/make it fit?

I'd try dimpling it with a small, light ball peen hammer. I'd do it leaving the cloth covering on. CN

    Good Stuff You Bought

Yes, they have active noise cancelling but it can be turned off. I'm not sure I'll ever wear them riding though. I pack a BT speaker along in my pannier. That's another good item I've bought lately. An Ultimate Ears Wonder Boom 2 Bluetooth speaker. CN
