Stock Suntour vs Fox Float 34 Forks

Nothing really other than I have relatively short legs and reducing the travel was easy enough to do. Marc

    Shock Rebound Problem

I made him a deal to replace it with a Fox Float DPS upgraded one. I believe he repaired mine and put it in his stock for future warranty use. The Fox shock has been no problem at all since.

R&M Bosch power socket rubber cap - design flaw

We're going for a motorcycle tour in Croatia and the surrounding countries next week. Our original flight from the US went through Heathrow, until that is, we found out all the extra 10 hoops you have to jump through just to change planes. We changed our flight to Swiss Air through Zurich. They...

Removing rear wheel with belt drive...puncture avoidance and field flat repair strategies

I have the same bike and a Park stand as well. I found that if I take the batteries out I can lift it into the stand without too much grunting. With the batteries installed, forget it! I love that garage! May I ask how old the walls and timbers are? Marc

Stem & headset adjustment on a Delite?

Hi, I was able to turn my headlight on my SD on and off following these directions available in their manual: The newest generation of the M99 MINI PRO-25 can be set to be manually switchable with the high beam switch. This function is intended for e-bikes like the Specialized Turbo Levo that...

The SD suspension can be set up so soft that I can't imagine needing anything additional. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you ride it. Marc

Upgrading my Dual Battery 2018 Delite Mountain, drive train and suspension

Yes, I agree. I probably should have gone for the higher spec one as that was what I really wanted. Sometimes I'm just too cautious :-( Marc

Upgrading my Dual Battery 2018 Delite Mountain, drive train and suspension

I asked one of the Fox engineers what the difference was and they told me that the wall thickness of the tubes is greater. In my case the 34 mm tubes have the ID of their 32 mm tubes hence the increase. He told me that their research demanded the thicker tubes. Maybe they were doing X games...

    2021–2022 Riese & Müller Homage

What is interesting is the next time you go for a ride push the o-ring down so it is sitting on top of the fork seal. After your ride take a look and see where the o-ring ended up. If it is all the way up to the top and you hadn't been taking jumps then you might consider that you are using too...

I actually don't think so. Just as a coincidence when using pounds and psi it turns out that fork pressure as a good starting point happens to come out to a number half of the rider's weight. I weigh 180 lbs and a setting of 90 psi sets my sag perfectly. With the shock it works out again by...

    2021–2022 Riese & Müller Homage

I know what he meant. I was responding to this question: "Which units is this rule of thumb good for? Rider in LBS vs KG, PSI vs Bar?" In that case if you weigh 180 lbs and you use 180 psi the rule of thumb works which I also prescribe to. If you're using metric units it obviously doesn't. How...

Hi, I'm sure you already know this but just in case you overlooked it (doubtful), Fox only recommends their 34 mm and larger forks for ebikes. I called them and had a lengthy discussion with one of their tech guys when I bought mine. Turns out their ebike specific 34 mm tubes have extra thick...
