    2014 Currie IZIP E3 DASH

Hi Justin, I just checked mine (at 99%) and it reads the following: 1 - 48 mi 2 - 38 mi 3 - 28 mi 4 - 19 mi T - 17 mi I just thought I'd throw out there that when mine reads 99%, it shows 8.2 AH, which also seems too low. Jarrod

    2014 Currie IZIP E3 DASH

Just thought I'd cross post this brief review of the Dash from my comparison thread. Also, I went on a nice bike ride on the Dash, and thought I would upload some pictures. Here you can see the electric bicycle visiting its big brothers: Jarrod

Boston rider: IZIP E3 Dash vs. Easy Motion Neo Cross – Specific Questions

Buying process: After doing much research on ebikes, I went down to my nearest ebike store and test rode the following bikes: Easy Motion Neo Jet (the Cross was too big), IZIP E3 Dash, IZIP E3 Peak, and Pedego City Commuter (step-through). While Court’s reviews are certainly more thorough than...

    Thudbuster Suspension Seat Post

To follow up on this, I found an amazon page to order more LT elastomers. The elastomer chart is here, and as Mark said, they're color coordinated. White - #1 Super Soft Gray - #3 Soft Blue - #5 Medium ??? - #7 Firm Purple - #9 Extra Firm When you buy a LT Thudbuster you get one #3 Soft, two...

    Thudbuster Suspension Seat Post

Thanks Ravi. According to the Easy Motion Website, the specs listed for the Neo Jumper 650B appear to say "Seat Post: Alloy 31.6 mm x 590mm with adjustable head". Maybe 0.7mm just isn't very noticeable. Edit: Also, I found an updated pdf for the Currie bikes. Column "K" has been added...

    Thudbuster Suspension Seat Post

I've been reading about the Thudbusters, and I have a couple of questions. 1) How do I determine the diameter to use for a given bike? I don't see seat tube dimensions listed in the manual for any bike I'm researching... is it listed on the bike itself? 2) In the FAQ on their website, it...

What speed does pedal assist turn off on Easy Motion electric bikes?

Interesting Court... I guess I've never really traveled at high speed for a long time on a bike before, so I didn't really think of that wearing me out. I suppose everything at high speed is probably a bit more taxing. Great advice!

Boston rider: IZIP E3 Dash vs. Easy Motion Neo Cross – Specific Questions

Thanks for the advice Rocks! I've never really ridden a cruiser-style bike before. There's some available at a nearby electric bike shop, so maybe I'll test ride those too. As a side note, I've been paying particular attention to regular bicycles when they go by me, and they seem to be nearly...

    2013 Easy Motion Neo Manual

12 AH Option for Neo Cross

Wow. I will certainly take that into consideration. FWIW, I emailed Easy Motion, and they pretty much dodged the question. Looks like they won't tell me if/when they plan on offering the 12ah battery for the Xtrem (I didn't mention the Race because I'm kind of leaning away from that one)...

    Even More Neo Carbon Love

Great pics Vern! Do you mind if I ask exactly which headlight, taillight, and under-seat pack you chose? They all look great! Also, are those the only three modifications you made to your bike?

12 AH Option for Neo Cross

Thanks again Chris! Once I have a better idea of which bike I'm interested in I'll email Easy Motion directly regarding release times. Hopefully Easy Motion doesn't end up becoming victim to the Osborne Effect, because now that I know the 12ah batteries are coming out, I have no intention of...

12 AH Option for Neo Cross

Boston rider: IZIP E3 Dash vs. Easy Motion Neo Cross – Specific Questions

Thanks for your reply Court! I guess I hadn't really looked at pure mountain bike style because I figured it would just be inefficient for city use with no added benefit when on the street. I didn't know that mountain-bike tires would feel softer. Now I'm busy comparing the Xtrem, 650B...
