My Atom Arrived - Not Quite As Expected/Ordered

You mean the dozen reviews without comment from India for an American company run by people of apparent Indian heritage might not be legit? I agree they probably have good intentions, but based on my interactions with them, they have no regard for truth, transparency, or communication - which...

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

I can't definitively confirm that I was affected by the queue jumping (though others can and it would explain the constant stream of new missing parts). The deliberate downgrade was confirmed by Amit - when I asked about the parts that had been downgraded without warning, he said they'd done...

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

Near as I can tell, it's just you and the totally sane and normal FnF that have had that positive experience buying from Pushkar in the last year or so (and from what I've seen, FnF doesn't even have one of their bikes) - you're in interesting company. The fact that you guys are on a different...

My Atom Arrived - Not Quite As Expected/Ordered

I'll just point out that this (let alone the initiation of the process) was a month ago... and still nothing - bang up job, Wattwagons. They're a definite scam, but the way I see it, WW can either cop the accurate, negative review or pay to have it removed. I can't speak for @Shel-done, but...

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

Yeah - after spending another $2K. ...Though I've now realised they also forgot or deliberately left out the programming cable - endless problems.

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

So Amit sent me the software info and updated to say that they made the call to send me the downgraded parts to avoid further delay. I'd chalked it up to incompetence, but this leaves 2 alarming possibilities I can see: They sold me parts they didn't have and couldn't get in the 9 months it...

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

Latest update: After my emails to Gregg were ignored, I started copying in Pushkar... after they were ignored, I filed a support ticket. That support ticket was picked up by Amit, who processed a refund for the difference WattWagons calculated between what I paid for and what they sent me. Nice...

My Atom Arrived - Not Quite As Expected/Ordered

Given their track record, this is meaningless without a concrete timeline. Your call refund is important to us - please continue to hold.

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

Good news - my bike finally arrived! yesterday 🎉 It's a little the worse for wear from shipping, but I haven't noticed anything too dramatic yet. To add to the list of config issues, I was sent the standard charger instead of the satiator, and the crank 2 pedals instead of the crank 7's. Still...

New X Tour / Crosstour - anyone place a pre order???

If you're buying a bike based on renders and promises from Pushkar having seen the issues they've had fulfilling Hydras, let alone the "off the plan" bikes they were selling two years ago that still have people demanding refunds while being ignored, I think you've got rocks in your head. If...

    Founder refunds still unaccounted for

I don't have his number to text, and email responsiveness was spotty - my last email was routed to Gregg, who I've been dealing with since. Initially he was great, but I've not heard from him in a month despite sending 8 emails. Live chat and support tickets have been all but ignored completely...

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

I'd expect that kind of thing from an Aliexpress vendor or similar (though in my experience, they tend to label their packages to avoid import duty) - these kinds of nasty surprises are something I thought I was paying to avoid or have managed/communicated as part of paying the extra to buy...

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

I hadn't checked - I import quite a lot, and my normal experience is either that the goods are exempt, or the sellers tell me what the duty is and/or roll it in to the price. I haven't looked at the rate calculation yet, but know there's about $500 in other associated fees rolled into that figure.

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

So the $55 exemption allowing import of the bike has been approved... and I've now been told I owe $1907.44 in import duties. This bike is the gift that just keeps giving.

    Hydra Batterie Question

Likely to maximise use of the capacity in the battery shell - it sounds as though the 52v 17ah battery claims were likely fraudulent (see pg1 of this thread), and switching from 15s3p (52v) to 14s4p (48v) increases the overall capacity /number of cells. Getting into pure speculation, while 14s...

    Hydra Batterie Question

At this point, I have no idea what voltage or capacity my bike is going to be - the 52v, 17ah, apparently impossible battery advertised when I ordered, or a much lesser 48v, 14ah battery that appears to be getting sold at the moment. Now knowing I can't change the voltage myself just rubs salt...

I'm sorry to hear it. Best of luck!

    Founder refunds still unaccounted for

People are in this thread because they're not available from Wattwagons either - at least Luna will set expectations appropriately rather than taking our money and ignoring us. My mistake on this one - they've been talking with Innotrace, but now that I go back to check, they don't sell...

    Founder refunds still unaccounted for

I'm not aware of any parts unique to Wattwagons at this point - I think the Hydra rear swing-arm was unique at one point, but even that isn't true any more. Saying that the bikes manufactured by manufacturer x aren't available from other manufacturers is a meaningless truism. Pretty much the...

    Founder refunds still unaccounted for

I don't know who else here wanted something special - we wanted the bikes Pushkar claimed to be selling. Now people want refunds for their bikes that will never come, and they're being ignored. To use your analogy, the "price of admission" has been paid, but it turns out the doors remain locked...
