KineKT Body Float Post - Rider Weight

Looking for input from Body Float users. I understand that when you buy this post each one comes with two additional springs, one lower and one higher weight class, to 'customize' your experience. When I look at the weight categories at 192 pounds I'm near the edge of moving to the Large...

Gear + Button Problem - Interceptor

I dropped the bike off at 930 this morning and got a call at 430 saying that it's ready for pick up....all fixed. There is a spring underneath the button however apparently the housing around the button was broken as well. Oh well, I'll take the wife in first thing in the morning and she can...

Gear + Button Problem - Interceptor

Right, the dealer was closed yesterday but it's off to the bike doctor this morning. I'll report the conclusion.

Gear + Button Problem - Interceptor

My wife returned from a ride yesterday without any issues, she left the driveway this morning and found that she could no longer press the black Gear + button the right hand controls. I don't use the bike at all but I believe the button 'should' have a spring loaded feeling. Right now the...

    Quick-E+

Good post! I'm interested in your Speedbox 2 purchase/install. Which site did you get it from? How was the install.....any issues stuffing the wire and connectors in the housing and then closing it up? Any issues with getting incorrect speedo or mileage readings? Thanks!

    Bike Stopped Running - Controller?

K, just checked and the LCD dot is still there so apparently there is no visible error code on the Interceptor display to indicate that brake lever issue for no power.

    Bike Stopped Running - Controller?

Hrmmm, glad u reminded me. As it's my wife's bike I'm not intimately familiar with it but there was a single LCD dot on the left side of the display almost like a power bar increment. I'll check to see if its gone away now to confirm that it may in fact be an error code.

    Bike Stopped Running - Controller?

SOLVED After doing more research I came across information about the micro switches that are found in each brake lever and their function. Closer inspection of the right (rear) brake lever revealed that when the brake lever was released it was no longer seating back into the sheath totally...

    Bike Stopped Running - Controller?

Pedego Interceptor purchased two months ago, still under warranty however the dealer is closed for two days so I thought I'd post the problem here for any insight. Bike has been working flawlessly for 500 miles. My wife went out this morning and for no reason she lost any and all power...

Quick E+ US vs CDN 28MPH/20MPH?

The specs of the Cdn and US version of the '19 Quick E+ are identical so yes I assume it's all software at the factory, the US market and some EU bikes get the flash for 28MPH and the Cdn, which is regulated to a max of 20MPH, gets their flash. This makes sense as I know the Pedego display, in...

Quick E+ US vs CDN 28MPH/20MPH?

Well out of curiosity I did contact a Giant Dealer in Portland OR and put this scenario to him. They were very good in looking into the matter however the final answer appears to be that the Dealers do not have the capability of programming, or at least the speed limiter area, so after...

Best 2 e-bike carrier for the money

My complaint on the Thule Easy Fold, other than the price, is that the whole unit, when folded up to the center, doesn't then fold back towards the back of vehicle. If you want to leave it attached to the hitch you're stuck with this >2' appendage sticking out off the rear of the car with only...

Quick E+ US vs CDN 28MPH/20MPH?

Interesting, as the Quick E+ in the States comes as a 28MPH bike I wonder they'd be willing to 'flash' my future Canadian 20MPH Quick E+ when I'm down south on holidays? I wouldn't mind paying a service charge.

Quick E+ US vs CDN 28MPH/20MPH?

Agreed, while there are tuning tools out there to over ride the speed limiter I suspect that the display can be flashed to change the settings. I know in the display of some brands the maximum speed is in the set up screen and can be changed by the end user.

Quick E+ US vs CDN 28MPH/20MPH?

I guess the bikes for the US/EU markets get tuned different to regulate the appropriate speeds.

Quick E+ US vs CDN 28MPH/20MPH?

Now I'm clearly getting ahead of myself as I haven't even bought an e-bike yet but as my search has pretty much ended up with declaring the Quick E+ the winner for me I'm looking at the details. On reviews and specs of the Quick E+ US and Germany etc they readily list the top assisted speed as...

    Hub Drive/Mid Drive Battery specs??

I'm slowly getting a basic understanding the E-bike technology however one of the things that's confusing me is the different battery terms of reference between the hub and mid drives. The bike I just bought for my wife is a hub drive, Pedego Interceptor, with a 48v 10Ah battery and I get that...

    Pedego 2019 Line Up?

I did and I received a reply yesterday afternoon. There was no mention of future changes to the Ridge Rider however he did offer that people fit bikes differently and that he was aware of a person who is 6'4" and rides a Ridge Rider comfortably. There was also a suggestion to look at the...
