    Yamaha YDX-Moro 07 Special Edition for $1600

Can't be delivered to NY... I'm guessing the battery doesn't carry a UL label. CT dealer has the discounted price at $2600 + $115 Assembly/ Recycle fee + tax Still not a bad deal but for a bike I don't need, I'll pass. Under 2k.. I'd do it just because I stupid like that.

Wired Cruiser - monster truck of ebikes.

🤣🤣🤣 That's exactly what I suggested he do. But with his existing ( I believe stock) chainring it wouldn't clear the chain stay. I suggested he go with a slightly smaller chainring but as with the bike.. he thinks everything bigger is better. Do you have one on each side of the chainring? No...

    Amazing deals at Yamaha currently

Tried CT... Same as NY I wonder if it has to do with local stock / shipping / and what a dealer may have on the floor already.

Do you mind linking to the chain guard?

When I put the same in my cart it comes to $2600? $2,845.99 with tax.

    Amazing deals at Yamaha currently

The YDX Moro has been calling me since introduced but felt it was a bit over priced and a bit more then my tired old ass would ever use to potential. Though I picked up a more appropriate and similarly pre-sale priced SUV eBike last summer... This makes things interesting. Well played Yamaha.

Zen Photon Pro - Disc Brake Pad Replacement

I concur.. The Dorado and Orion name seem to be interchangeable and are very similar visually. There is a $30 difference in MSRP but I'm guessing that's for the "e" levers on the Dorado. I have the TRP E.23 caliper which allows for the use of a 2.3mm thick rotor. They have awesome stopping...

Wired Cruiser - monster truck of ebikes.

Not to piss on anyone's parade but a friend of mine recently got the Freedom and for me... I'm a pass. He has less than 500mi on it and my observation are.. It's Gigantic. The motor is a little loud for my taste. Front fork has minimal travel and is passing oil through the seals. Rear...

Salzmann 3M Spoke Reflectors for Bicycles

Personally I'm a pass on them. From all the positive reviews I'm sure they do work... Just keep in mind that the amount of light that a camera picks up in trying to photograph something like this will be exaggerated.

Zen Photon Pro - Disc Brake Pad Replacement

I concur... Work on stuff yourself and you'll rarely be stuck on the road as you know what to do. Also time well spent on the crapy weather days.

Zen Photon Pro - Disc Brake Pad Replacement

Good Job... You get 2 merits! 🤣 Obviously brake cleaner works well, but since I don't clean my own automotive pads I won't purchase it just for my bike when I so seldom need to use it. I try to keep chemicals to a minimum and use products that have multiple uses. Isopropyl alcohol being one of...

Zen Photon Pro - Disc Brake Pad Replacement

You can remove oil from pads with a dish soap like Dawn, a degreaser like Simple Green... or any other degreaser that rinses easily and completely. Then do a wet sand and alcohol wipe down. Alcohol wipe down should be sufficient for the rotors

Zen Photon Pro - Disc Brake Pad Replacement

I'd do as suggested above and sand the pads with some fine grit wet/dry sandpaper for paint/metal (the autobody stuff) and then clean them and the rotor with isopropyl alcohol. Not a big fan of all metallic pads unless totally necessary as they eat rotors. Ceramic pads give the best compromise...

Holy crap Aventon! What is this silver stuff you're putting on your chains?!? I've tried 2 different strong degreasers

Here we go again with the anal chain lubing that takes hours of your life to return maybe 0.34 extra miles of riding.... Maybe. I get 3000mi out of a standard <$20 chain on a 750w and 1000w mid drives just reading the bottle of any lube and doing as instructed.. applying every few hundred miles.

How do you all use your E-BIKES? Do you go out riding with friends or do you enjoy the experience on your own?

I mostly ride alone to commit crimes. Drive_by robberies, chain and phone snatches and such. Much more effective with an ebike than a moped as they don't hear (with an ear) you coming up from behind. Good to get my daily exercise in as I make a few bucks. Enjoy!

No power/current display after Ultra 620 Canbus-UART conversion

I agree with you on the noise as I too was spoiled with the virtually silent BBS02B. My attempt to quiet the Ultra with Mobil SHC100 did help a little with a slightly more pleasing tone and lower overall noise level... but it's still not a BBS* Many have had good results with John Deere Corn...

No power/current display after Ultra 620 Canbus-UART conversion

I'd suggest to be patient and adjust how you approach the motors response because once understood and accounted for on your end with riding adjustments the refinement of the Ultra controller is something to be appreciated. Took me about 3 months to get there. That said on the last page Speed...

Ooohhhh the water bong effect. But the Edison lackey didn't have a time machine to go back to Mesopotamia?
