    I purchased my class 3 bike because it had all of the components I considered important. Speed not necessarily being one of them. I wanted it to be lightweight, a better than average drivetrain, and to look like a bicycle, not a motorcycle. I just wanted to be able ride a bicycle again...

    Hurricane, a technician at Bosch suggested that, I too, should replace the power harness between the battery and the motor. Still under warranty so trying that is a no-brainer. Extremely helpful and accommodating. I'll keep you informed.

    Chain maintenance.

    Here's my chain maintenance procedure......WAX then he updated the procedure with water... much cleaner drive chain. and it's cool too. Do a search, there's multiple videos showing the benefits and here's the wattage ratings of various commercial bicycle chain lubricants.....

    24 inch to 20 inch

    First, remove the tire then remove all of the spokes, find a hacksaw and remove several inches off the wheel and weld the two ends together. With a new set of spokes, lace and true the wheel for balance. "Is there a way I can make this 24 wheel to a 20 " What does that mean?

    I don't. I keep it with me all the time. It's sacroficial, but living in a NYC borough , I'm not taking any chances.

    Cool, I didn't want to change my helmet for a while. Good to see reports on both sides of the fence.
