    CrossCurrent S Clicking Fixed

Great write up. Would you be willing to share the actual brand and part number of the items you bought that fixed the problem? I managed to stretch a chain beyond spec in as little as 800 miles with my CCS. I no long "hammer down" on the pedals and I use the motor to get the bike going...

    CCX rear flat

I have a CCS not a CCX but I thought the wheels were the same. Anyhow, check your side wall of your tire. It is likely 700x28-45c. I bought Kujo brand tube from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BM23DG4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This video gives a...

A big thanks to the author of the this bracket: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3460788 A friend of mine was able to print it on his printer and I installed it on my CCS today. It fits and looks perfect.

Chain coming off front chainring constantly!

I have a CCS and the chain comes off if I hit a really good bump while pedaling. The stock chain that came with my CCS stretched, a lot. When I replaced my chain it had stretched 2.5 links worth of length. Ask your mechanic if he sized the new chain. If so, did he size it based on length or...

What speeds are you getting uphill with the CCS and CCX?

I have a 400 foot climb at 6% grade towards the end of my ride. I have a 19ah battery on my CCS that is typically at 60% SOC when I get to this hill. The performance of the bike shows degradation towards the top of the hill. The CCS is a great bike but it is built for speed (on the flats) and is...

    CCX measuring for right size

Large would be too small for you. They also have a great return policy.

    CCX measuring for right size

I test rode both the L and XL. I'm 5' 10" and slightly long in the legs. I felt cramped on the L and went with the XL. Glad I did. If you are in So. Cal, you can call them up and test ride them.

CCS 52V Stolen: Should I replace with a CCX or CCS 48V? Or find another brand?

I had a Stromer ST-2 for over year (3800 miles). It was in the shop a lot, as were many other ST-2s. My CCS has worked great (1 year, 2100 miles). Not as strong as the ST2 but considering it is $4k less....

    RipCurrent S - Cruise control doesn't work ?

On my CCS I noticed that I must be pedaling in order for the cruise control feature to activate. If I press the "-"button and am not pedaling i just get the walk mode.

    Juiced CCS

They are pretty nice bikes. I've had mine for 11 months and will hit 2,000 miles this week. Only problem so far was with part of the kickstand disappearing. The kickstand is 2 pieces and the screw that holds the lower piece to the upper piece came loose. Juiced sent me a new one immediately...

    Favorite CCS upgrades/accessories?

Saddlebags! Because wearing a backpack sux. I've also added another tail light and Garmin computer mount for my Edge 1030. A bike bell is good if you are going to be around people. I travel through a major University and most students attend to their phone and not where they walk. If you...

Battery voltage -- Multimeter 2.5 v higher than LCD

I always let the battery rebound/rest after riding before testing the voltage. Same goes for charging, take it off the charger, let it sit for 15 minutes, then check voltage. I too have a CCS 48V. I was told, or read somewhere on this forum, that the charger that came with our bikes will only...

First ride report & Low voltage setting for CCX

Congrats on your CCX. I put 3800 miles on my Stomer ST2. I've ridden over 1200 on my CCS. Both bikes have their pros and cons. I think you made the right choice for the $$$. The best part about the ST2 was the motor. IT was really strong. The CCS gets up to speed eventually and doesn't...
