    Battery switch problem

Yes. Looks like I'll have to ship the battery cross-country which will take 1 week, wait for 2 weeks and they will ship it back to me which will take another week. 4 weeks min without the bike. And hope that it does not happen again before I need to replace the cells.

    Battery switch problem

Hello Guys, I was starting my second season on the CCX and now running into a battery problem. I rode the bike into December and it was sitting for a bout a month at ~60% charge and now I am starting to ride it again. After a couple of rides this year the battery developed a problem. The...

Replacement rim for current model of CCX with 13g Sapim spokes

Not sure about the spokes, I replaced the entire front wheel on my ccx after a crash. Hub, spokes and rim. DT Swiss TK 540 fits the original tire very well. I had to drill it out to fit the shrader valve though.

CCS2 - Bike Rack and Fenders

The problem with the rack is attaching the rear fender to it. The rack is skewed. It is off-center in the rear and centered on the frame in the front. When you attach the rear fender to the rack where the rear light is the fender is off-center with the wheel by almost an inch (can even rub on...

CCS2 - Bike Rack and Fenders

Everybody's does. I am amazed they had guts to send a hack like this to customers :(.

CCS2 - Bike Rack and Fenders

If CCS2 uses the same frame as CCX it's going to be "asymmetrical", the right side is about an inch more off center than the left to fit the torque sensor. The rack would have to be bent properly. Actually CCX rack on my bike is a joke it's all skewed to one side because Juiced just took a...

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

I installed Deckas 130BCD. The narrow-wide chainring bolts to the existing crank and chain guard. The setup looks exactly the same as original.

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

I have installed the narrow-wide 52T chainring on the CCX. I have not changed anything else. It's the same chain length, etc. The effect is very good. I used to have 3-4 drops on my 45 miles round trip commute. Now I went for a week without a single drop.

    Odometer reset to zero?

Same thing here. Reset by itself around 1600 miles. Must be software bugs. On the other hand it's a "trip meter", so I can imagine that they store the counter in some units (wheel rotations?) and that could have overflown.

    CCX 500 Mile update

I have 1500 miles on my CCX now, it's a daily commuter going 24 miles each way with relatively small hills. Unfortunately the quality of the pavement on my routes is fairly bad with lots of potholes on the streets, tree roots under the pavement on the portion of the bike path I use and plenty...

    Fitting new break pads

I don't think it has to do with the caliper installation. The retaining pin only secures the pads in the caliper. The wheel is removed at this point so the rotor can not get in the way at all. It's only the interaction of the pads and the caliper. I actually reinstalled the old pads, aligned...

    Fitting new break pads

Hello guys, My CCX came from Juiced with a slightly warped front rotor, so after 1100 miles I finally got time to replace the front rotor with a Shimano rotor. I also tried to install the Shimano E01S metallic pads into the front caliper and even though the shape of the pads is the same as the...

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

Thank you, any particular brand/site recommendations to get the narrow-wide chain ring?

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

I think it needs a chain guide similar to derailleur or a limiter to prevent it from jumping "up". Not sure if the frame has any suitable mounting points though. CCX has some plastic bit on the frame that seems to be for limiting purposes, but it's useless. If I remember correctly the current...

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

Hello Guys, I have about 800 miles on the CCX now. One annoying issue that keeps coming back is the chain drop on bumps. As you stop pedaling right before the rough area the tension is reduced and I end-up with a chain drop a couple of times on my 22 mile commute. Any recommended after market...

Received new CCX the rear wheel is completely crooked

All I want to know if correct wheel was shipped to me. Because Juiced "inventory" system only has a number for a CCS wheel. In order for them to ship me a CCX wheel some special magic notes had to be added to the order. I am wondering if this was screwed-up in the end or not. The label on the...

Received new CCX the rear wheel is completely crooked

Hello Guys, So I finally received a new wheel from Juiced too replace the broken wheel that came with the bike originally. I went for one ride so far it seems to work, but what I noticed is that the motor on the wheel is marked as 48V, not 52V. Can somebody with a CCX confirm that this is a...

Received new CCX the rear wheel is completely crooked

I am not a big fan of doing the rebuild at a bike shop. This moves the responsibility from Juiced to the bike shop for the quality of the wheel and delays the whole process. It takes the same time to ship the parts for the rebuild as shipping the new wheel. The bikes shops are getting busy now...

Received new CCX the rear wheel is completely crooked

Here is an update on the wheel. I took the bike to a good local shop. The wheel can not be fixed the rim has a flat spot around the seam approximately 3" long. To me it looks like they picked a defective rim, laced it up, noticed the defect with some spokes still not tight and instead of...

Received new CCX the rear wheel is completely crooked

It's hard to take a picture of a wobble, a video may-be... The support offered to take it to a bike shop for wheel truing and claim they will refund the cost. I have a feeling that the rim may be defective and can not be trued, but I will leave that decision to the mechanic. I'll report back in...
