When you replaced your original G06 motor with the G062, was the replacement plug and plug and did you have to remove the whole thing (casing) and relace the new motor inside instead ?

For France (and I would think Europe), better to either know how to perform basic service on you bike or have competent local bike shop around. Other than than, Rad offers great value for the price. Can't complain, did a few mods here and there to fit my needs.

I only use low PA for the city or long distance rides (over 100 miles with extra batteries). For the city, for obvious safety reasons and longer rides to save battery. That being said, I would be curious to see an extensive review on this kit.

I agree. When I'm in the low end of my battery life, I have to ride at lower PAS because there's just not enough voltage left in the cells to sustain a higher load. The exact same phenomenon happened as OP described. I wouldn't bet everything on being able to go 1500W on a sustain manner...

I have a spare chain, just buy any 7 speed chain, it should be compatible. As for length, just measure from the old chain when you're gonna take it off. That's what I usually do. So far, I have about 3000 miles, stock chain's still looking good.

Thanks. I've seen users successfully switching to 3 inches tires. I was wondering for 2.25" due to the larger choice of tires. Probably next year, I'll change for 3" tires after using my current Jumbo Jim ones (which should last longer than the Kenda stock ones according to reviews).

Really don't know as I swapped another controller entirely. Try it out, you just have to screw/unscrew a few screws and plug/unplug a few cables. Can't see how it might hurt. I would try it out.
