Wish your Turbo S had front suspension?

Interesting to hear your experiences here. This would be the only possible solution for the Turbo S as the tight configuration does not allow for a suspension fork.

Fender job on the Turbo S - an unorthodox approach

For those that use your high speed pedelec in wet, snowy or muddy conditions and want to arrive at your destination dry and clean, you know that the Specialized fender pack to the Turbo S is not very forgiving. It looks great and slick but does not give much protection to the lower part of your...

First 1000 km on my Turbo S – a review from Stockholm, Sweden

No broken spokes. Since reading about yours and others problems I have checked all of them, but I get the perfect singing noice back from all spokes.

First 1000 km on my Turbo S – a review from Stockholm, Sweden

2000 km update. Not much to say - bike performs without any problems. Only adjustments made have been to tighten the brake handles. My average speed has gone up considerably since 80% of the Stockholm bicyclists have now stopped commuting due to colder, wetter (and soon icier) weather. My new...

    Brooks saddles

Sensewai, I did my research and came to the conclusion that Bikester had the best price for the B-17 Special. It was available in a few stores also on Södermalm but not with the nice copper nails. There is a full sub-culture around Brooks saddles on the internet, how to break them in. how to...

The magnet for the battery port is pretty strong!

I have left it sitting next to the hole several times without loosing it. But I have adapted Sensewai's solution now.

    Brooks saddles

I have the B-17 Special with copper nails on my Turbo S. The only adjustment I made was lacing the sides so they stay straight. However, 1000 km later I do recognize that this made the saddle much stiffer. I'll give it another 1000 km to see whether I will break it in to the comfort level I had...

Turbo Owners -- What's your total mileage? [OFFICIAL MILEAGE THREAD]

First 1000 km on my Turbo S – a review from Stockholm, Sweden

eagamer, thanks for the advice on the Ergon grips. I do not fancy the bar ends but saw there are ones without. Wrt the swedish speedelec requirements - I insure it as a klass II moped after having had some discussions with the insurance company. I will soon start looking for winter tyres. Main...

    Mission Control App!

The mission app certainly need development although it gives you fair abilities to tune your bike. One thing that is very irritating is that the odometer does not keep track of your total distance. The map function has a number of quite useless things with points of interest etc, but it also has...

First 1000 km on my Turbo S – a review from Stockholm, Sweden

bazzapage, I noticed that the frame distance on the Turbo was wider than on my old Scott bike where I previously had the lock mounted. (I think the end part of the frame is similar on both X ans S). So what I had to do was to first remove the plastic covering on the lock and measure how much I...

    2015 Turbo X, Maximum Speed?

Have you tried checking and/or changing wheeel circumference in the mission control app settings? My guess is that the real cut-out speed can be increased/decreased that way depending on the circumference you choose. It will not change the read out on the Turbo control or in the mission app...

First 1000 km on my Turbo S – a review from Stockholm, Sweden

This is a review of my experiences with, and adjustments made, on my Turbo S that was bought in late June 2016. After having laid down +10000 km on my previous e-bike, a de-regulated Scott esub sport 10, I started to notice squeaks and wear on gears and moving parts on the bike this spring...

Add-on battery (non-Specialized) for longer trips?

I would be very interestd to see if this would work. My guess is that you would have to have a higher voltage battery connected by the rosenberg plug. Not clear if you need some kind of regulator for the Amps.
