Ecotric Hammer - intermittent PAS cutout

Thanks Harry, I blew compressed air over the ring magnet and that resolved the issue. I ride a lot on dirt and I think some debris got stuck between the ring magnet and sensor.

Ecotric Hammer - intermittent PAS cutout

PAS is cutting out intermittently while the throttle still works. I've visually checked all connections. Cutoff occurs for a couple of seconds every few minutes.

Affordable Step Through Bike for City

My wife rides the Espin Flow and I ride the ride1up 500, they are both excellent bikes, and especially for the price. The one benefit of the Espin Flow is that it has hydraulic brakes, which are like power brakes compared to the mechanical disc brakes on the 500. Lots of reviews on YouTube and...

    Storing Bikes

I've used this for years for storage in the garage. I also use in the bed of my pickup truck, with tie downs, for transport to the trails.

How to get 100 mile range on a 500 wh battery !

I own a Ride1up 500, Espin Flow and Ecotric Hammer. I have tested Trek Powerfly 4, Rad Rover, Rad City, and Rad Mini. The Pace 500 and 350 are the easiest to pedal with no assistance than any other bike I have tried. Almost like a light weight, non-electric bike. I like this because I bike...

    Ecotric Hammer

They are on sale now for $1199 from 2 sites. Seems like a good deal for a cool looking cruiser with hyd brakes, 1000 watt motor, 48v/13a battery, front suspension, fat tires and 18 month warranty.

Ecotric Hammer as 2nd e-bike for Variety?

I'm doing about 2500 miles per year on a Ride1up 500, mostly for fitness. It's a commuter/light MTB style which I really like. However, I would like something totally different to provide variety. I'm looking at a cruiser style, Ecotric Hammer, as a second e-bike for this purpose, details below...

Bike frame broke. Can anything be done for this?

I read what Taylor posted ... almost word for word copy from the sellers website. Not sure what Taylor had in mind by posting here.

    Ciao from Italy raga

Welcome to the ERB forums Asiero ! Lots of good folk with great knowledge here, so I'm sure you will get some good advice. JRA mentioned Bolton, and that's a good start for you to take a look at that site. Stay safe. :)

Bike frame broke. Can anything be done for this?

Wow, sorry to here that DJB, and glad you are okay. I would send/copy this post to the seller. They say they have a 1 year warranty, but I would think in a case like this, they would/should be willing to replace your bike. Let us know what happens.

    Espin Nero

Rad has always used their peak power (750 watts) in their description. The motor on the Nero is rated at 500 w continuous and 1000 watts peak.

Trying to figure out what type of ebike will be best

Take a look at the Espin Nero for $1195. It's basically the same bike as the Rad Rover Step Thru, which has excellent reviews and large following. The Lectric XP has a wide following also, of mostly happy customers, but you have to be able to live with the "shortcomings" of 20 inch wheels and no...

    Espin Nero

I'm considering a Nero as a second e-bike for trail riding. Since there are no reviews yet, it appears that the Nero is almost identical to the Rad Rover Step Thru which has many reviews ... video and text. Is it safe to assume that the Rad Rover Step Thru reviews would be largely applicable to...
