Anyone have experienced with Rola Convoy Modular Bike Carrier?

I have the single configuration with the 2” hitch. Capacity for single bike is 80lbs and with 1 add on unit capacity is 75 lbs per bike. Good up to 5” tires. It’s a heavy rack, but it’s also heavy duty. It will work excellent for your bike and the price can’t be beat. If you get it, assemble it...

    eMTB Options For 2024

I'm surprised on the weight of 53 lbs considering the front triangle is carbon and it's using the Bosch CX Gen4 motor. Base model $5500...ouch. I know it's a Hybrid but a bit surprised he categorized it as more of a trail rider with all that suspension travel. Still, beautiful bike.

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

After a little research on the Shockstop the only conclusion I could reach is that it's a no-brainer. Ordered the +/- 6 in 100mm....same length as current stem. Thanks @bob armani .

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

If you would have asked me about the suspension stem before I changed out the tires that came stock with the Sport I would have said a definite 'yes', but with the somewhat larger volume tires and even more so running less psi, it's more than tolerable, to my surprise I might add. So other than...

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

My model, Sport One, has the Steps e6100 motor. Only the LTD in the Sport, City and Cross get the e8000. 10Nm torque difference, 70 vs 60. Same small form factor for most part and the 6100 is actually the quieter of the two. Since I won't be conquering any major hills on this bike it's of little...

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

Crazy Lennys. They had gotten 5 factory demos in various sizes and sold out quick. I agree about the weight. Amazing at 34 lbs motor and battery included.

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

I’ve always found this bike intriguing, so when the chance to buy a factory demo Sport One with full warranty for close to 40% off I pulled the trigger. I got a medium that had 154 miles on it. After the first ride I knew right away that the tires had to go. Rolled fast, but you felt every...

SONDORS is releasing it's first mid-drive EBikes.

Some photos posted on Sondors Facebook page of new mid drive bikes at factory in China.

The first wave appears to be sold out of Rockstar according to Sondors web site. I see new shipping date of January 2021 for next wave. The LX is listed as sold out. I also checked Cruiser and matte black color in that model is sold out.

I won't argue with you when it comes to specifics, it would be nice. Using the word 'premium' to describe components is pretty vague and I shouldn't have to figure it out by looking at close-up photos, but the bottom line is that they don't use crap no-name stuff.

No I wasn't. I was just trying to say if you put 2 and 2 together it's easy to surmise based on the components they put on their other bikes, like the MXS, that one could expect similar on the mid drives.

Vaporware? If this was a Kickstarter thing I might agree with that comment, but it's not. As for components, look at the MXS model that some are now getting. Appears to be mostly Shimano parts. Are they top-of-the-line parts, no, and I wouldn't expect them to be given the bike pricing, but they...

The tires on the LX appear to be the Maxxis Colossus. They are 4.8" wide tires, not 4". The width of the rims for the 4.8" tires most likely won't even accommodate downsizing to 4" tires. Don't even think about 3" on those rims.

I guess I'm one of those suckers that's pre-ordered a Cruiser, but I have a feeling I'll have the last laugh. I can cancel anytime between now and October if things change drastically that I don't like. If it pans out to be even close to what I'm hoping for, especially with the Ultra motor, high...

    eMTB Options For 2024

Finally got my BadAss a week ago and generally agree with you. Pedaling like a mad man I could get it to 26 mph. I'll admit that the simple fact that I no longer hit a 'wall' so to speak at 19 mph on my BH bike is great and will keep it attached.

Actually, if you look at the photo with the bike standing by itself you can see a shield on the sides below the rack.

How to fit a rear rack on a full suspension bike?

To be honest I was just hoping they would have machined a thru axle with a 1.0 thread pitch that would work on our bikes without us having to deal with swapping out the axle stud.

    Tannus Armour installation tips?

According to the Tannus chart at least, no trimming. I certainly don't have a lot of experience, but it seems tubeless ready tires and rims by design have tight tolerances, fit wise, making changing tires not fun. You're smart taking them to the LBS.
