    45km/h ebikes

Hey Timpo...get yourself a small motorcycle. Besides riding a bike that fast without a full face helmet and road rash protective gear is almost ...you fill in the words.

R&M Halting air shipments due to pandemic?

Well I guess my order for a Mulitcharger Mixte will be delayed beyond January 2021...actually that's a good thing. BC government has promised to eliminate the sales tax (7%) on e-bikes but our new NDP government hasn't even got its act together after our early October election. Thats a lot of...

Charger3 being built this week - new R&M owner in Vancouver BC

Thanks for those facts. I actually don't ride fast enough to maybe feel a dramatic difference. Just limiting myself to city and pavement riding.

Charger3 being built this week - new R&M owner in Vancouver BC

I ordered the Mulitcharger Mixte because of the cargo capacity and the bigger rear rack. The Charger GT 3 is OK if you want bigger tires (27.5 inch rims) but I I don't see the option available of the Multicharger models to change the wheels to 27.5 inches. Just curious why after years with...

New 2021Homage and Nevo 3 on order

Well then you should check to see if the BC sales tax reduction applies to you purchase. The NDP government has promised to remove the 7% PST on e-bikes after the election. So I would ask Kelly regarding the details because if you haven't taken delivery. Then hopefully the sales tax changes...

Seriously (not subjectively)... Do suspension forks improve safety on Urban ebikes?

The fact is most motorcycle fatal accidents occur in intersections and speeds usually not that excessive. I can understand why there is the concern for safety even at the 20 to 28 mph speeds that some e-bikes can achieve. I would venture to say that at least in my city there probably are more...

Seriously (not subjectively)... Do suspension forks improve safety on Urban ebikes?

I thought e-bikes, at least in Canada, are limited to 20 mph so either everyone here are actually pushing real hard all the time above the electric motor's applied force. I have ridden my e-bike downhill to 28 mph and it does feel unsafe. I'm not sure suspension would make that feel more safe.

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

Ok then I am to understand the Homage has a rear suspension and when you hit rough ground the suspension compression will then decrease the pedal distance to the ground. This makes sense. Not the issue with other hit tailed models then like the multicharger.

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

Good explanation Alaskan....please take a measurement for us. I ordered a Mulitcharger Mixte and wondering if this will be the case as well.

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

So when you are riding and have the bike leaned over for a corner and its a bumpy ride, the pedal is down... is this the scenario when the pedal hits the pavement?

    SOLD...Kinekt 2.1, Medium 150-200lbs / 27.2mm / 350mm

I am assuming Iowa state then and my outline estimator for 5 LB box with dimensions of 15" x 4" x4" comes out to about $21 or so. I haven't found a box as of yet so the calculator from Canada Post may be different in the final packaging.

    SOLD...Kinekt 2.1, Medium 150-200lbs / 27.2mm / 350mm

I am located in Vancouver, BC. V5W 1R1. Give me your ZIP code or Postal Code. I shipped a 3 lb package to Denver Colorado just last week for about $23 US but I think this weights a bit more and may need a slightly bigger box. Just to give you an idea of shipping costs to the US from Canada.

Charger3 being built this week - new R&M owner in Vancouver BC

Did complete the transaction or just a down payment? You could ask Citrus bikes what they think about this. Wondering if your timing will still OK so the total tax only applies once the delivery is completed. For me it’s about $641 difference.

Charger3 being built this week - new R&M owner in Vancouver BC

I just heard the BC provincial government is going to drop the 7% sales tax on e-bikes if they get a majority government. The 5% federal tax still applies and there are no taxes on bicycles. With an expensive R&M that a significant savings. I ordered a 2021 Mulitcharger Mixte and hoping this...

    2021–2022 Riese & Müller Homage

The last time I was in New Zealand, there wasn't a single creature other than human that could cause you harm. No scorpion, snake, large animals or flying creatures known to result in your demise. Now, the big place know as Australia did has lots. Maybe the bull sheep if you were caught...

Excellent write up. Thanks for taking the time to share this with the R&M community. Now just have to get delivery of my Mulitcharger.

New 2021Homage and Nevo 3 on order

So Peter how did you check your order? I assume Kelly gave you your Configuration code (long 15 character) and you registered with R&M. I see on their webpage you can check orders. With Cit-E I gave them the document that I printed out so maybe I should copy this code down and then I can...

Vektron S10 with Performance Line (2021) or Active Line Plus (2020)?

A belt drive....why have a folding bike that you place inside your vehicle with a oily chain. I would have taken it with a less powerful motor and an upgraded display.

Vektron S10 with Performance Line (2021) or Active Line Plus (2020)?

Everything updated but the drive train...not interested in a derailleur e-bike anymore. When will they listen.
