Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

The highlight of yesterday's 12 mi ride was a large bluff-top open space overlooking South Ponto Beach and Batiquitos Lagoon.

Love riding the sand-coated hardpack up there as I take in the fantastic views.

Never saw this vessel move. Looks like a military workboat, but could be a research vessel out the Scripps Oceanographic Institution in La Jolla, some 20 mi south of here.

Outer Batiquitos Lagoon with half-replaced rail bridge at left. Guessing they'll soon be laying track for the planned 2nd line.

Once completed, the new bridge will also allow better tidal flushing of this much larger inner lagoon. Between the inner and outer lagoons, there must be 10 different shades of blue here in the water alone. I like blue.

Nearly all offroad in this area is hardpack — all of it with at least a thin veneer of loose sand.

Here, the sand's not always so thin — and it get much deeper than this in places.

That new 40 mm gravel tire (Specialized Tracer tubeless) barely fit under the front fender. But it makes my bike vastly more sure-footed on this kind of surface than the 38 mm Pathfinder it replaced.
As I was reading and looking at your lovely pics I was getting ready to ask how the new front tire was working out for you.
Awesome!

Word on the street is that this open space will soon be a resort. What a waste! Gotta enjoy it while I can.
Special part of hell for developers.

...Though they'll tell you it's south facing with great views and much better then the lawyers or politicians sectors...

Nice day today, although a bit odd for mid July at only 18C, a bit cloudy and windy. Went for road ride and headed east...

Train tracks cutting through Surrey...

Some cars just for @RabH Busy on King George Hwy... 😁

How many "Binfaces" do you "Count"? :D

Looking north towards "Central City" area in Surrey...

On the Greenway heading west towards home. These zig-zag crossings are common...

Getting ready for some games tomorrow...

Another nice day, and after some chores decided to get out to enjoy it.
My mileage has been severely lacking this year due to some health interruptions so everything helps.
Headed out to grab some supplies...

Grabbing said supplies...

Decided to carry on and access the Greenway at the local ice arena. Not a lot of action there...

After all of the flooding there are numerous areas where new large gravel deposits have been laid. Gotta watch it, they are loose!

Went around a "Trail closed" marker, and this is what things turned into...

Saw a girl on a Heybike try this skinny feature. Didn't go well. Down she went into the mud/pool...

Ended up turning around as the trail truly was blocked off...

The exit/entrance to the Greenway is now a small trail at the end of the pub parking lot...

I was riding my non-e-bike from work to home. It is about 8 miles, and I burn about 400 calories. That’s almost twice as much as on my Trek. Well, I missed my AirTag notification that my bag was at work. I left it on the floor by my bike, and it had a bunch of meat in it. I was a little over 1/2 the way home. I had to turn around and get it, so my ride was 15.5 miles, and I burned 650 calories. I will so try when I got home. We can go 30 miles on the tandem on an easy flat ride and burn that in two hours. I did 650 in about an hour and a half. So we hop on the tandem to go check out refrigerators at this outlet store. I wanted to get a Bosch for 1800, but they were out but for a Fisher and Paykel. It was good we could compare different door styles and a few Bosch ones. Way more money than I wanted to spend, but it was $ 600.00. The list price is $ 2900 less than retail. Should have gotten some ride pics, but it was mostly industrial roads along the rail yard, and man, all those tankers stank. Lots of old track to cross too. But I got a pic of the fridge. I went on another ride 30 miles, an easy ride, but I ran out of steam in maybe 7 miles. I only averaged 85 watts with the wife doing a fair amount. I am getting more energy. This is the first couple of weeks I have been able to do 30 miles on weekends since I had Covet 4 months ago.
