Specialized Creo 2 owners

As I’m sure many of you know, surviving cancer changes money thoughts.
It does indeed. But I'd also have to get divorced to put some of those new thoughts into action. Oh wait, the lawyers would end up with all the bike money anyway. Never mind.
;^}

I finish meds in February and will be building stamina back up and flying downhill shortly thereafter if all goes well,)
Congrats! Wishing you lots of fun on your Creo and a quick return to your pre-chemo self.

There is « n+1 » for number of bikes, but also « D-1 » lol !

Got the Creo 2 back, "rerererepaired" another new battery,motor, and wiring harness, and I had to pay $216.96 for repair service that I never asked for and specialied wouldn't cover the cost, I have invoked rider care, called specialized and used the stupid chat, its not right

I agree, something is wrong and should not have had to pay anything.

Yes the bike is under warranty until May 1st of 2026, bought the bike Apirl 1st 2024 like a fool, the only thing I asked for is a new bike and offered to pay for half cause I needed a bike in July the fist time it was in the shop to only be back in August then in October

I had 0 issues with the og Vado 5.0 SL, it was out of warranty so it was time to upgrade, the motor finally went out at 19,000+, and like a dummy bought an Vado 5.0 igh too but that bike was a turd, but specialized fixed it again and again no extra cost to me

I noticed something interesting on the US Specialized site. Originally the Creo 2 Alloy was listed to have the 3.1 FS. When the 2026 model came out it was still listed to have the 3.1. In looking at the pics online it suggests that the 2026 either has the 2.0 because of the adjustment knob or the 3.3. When I received my 2026 it had the adjustment knob. It didn’t come with any additional springs which I found odd. I had some extra springs which from other bikes so I set out to replace the original spring that was too soft. I was surprised to find that my bike had the 2.0 which doesn’t have replaceable springs. I contacted Specialized and pointed out their advertised specs listed the 3.1 and I clearly had the 2.0. Specialized agreed to replace it and sent a 3.2 instead as they were out of 3.1’s. Cool.

Today I see that the current Creo 2 Alloy is listed to have the 2.0 on the website, this must’ve been a recent change in documentation. I find it odd that they would downgrade this part from the 2025 to the 2026. In reality, the 3.1 is marginally better that the 2.0 and is actually more similar to the 1.5. In my opinion the real magic of the FS is from the 3.2/3.3.

@Ebikelife72 , Specialized sometimes lags on the specifications on the product pages. Last year for the Creo 2, they listed tires as Tracer Pro, 700x47c, but US was getting 42c tires. The current 26 MY Comp page is updated regarding the 42c tires. But Specialized has updated the previous Tracer Pro 2Bliss model, with a new design and spec: Tracer TLR All Terrain Gravel Tire, in 40, 45, and 50mm sizes. The new tires are showing on some of the 26 MY Creo 2 bikes, but not all Creo 2s on the site.

Yes, I'm aware of their inaccurate or slow to be updated website. I just thought it odd that they'd downgrade from the 3.1 FS to the 2.0 on the same bike but new model year.

Unless they were shipping the 2.0 FS all along and only upgraded those few who noticed like you.
Yes, I believe they've been shipping with 2.0 the whole time and just failed to update their literature. Their website photos clearly shows the FS with an adjustment knob which can only be a 2.0 or 3.3 and they certainly aren't shipping their lowest model Creo with the 3.3. I've seen a few others with the 2026 E5 who assume they have the 3.0 series but clearly do not. It's good Specialized finally updated their site, but should've done it before the release even though I benefitted from their procrastination;)
