Tighten her up, put some lube on it and if you can get 2000 watts out of your legs you might be able to make it go down a hill.

Beautiful! Mountain biked and ocean kayaked all over the Marin Headlands and its coast from home in Sausalito for a good 8 years back in the 80s. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Took the dog for a walk after some neighborhood laps on the bike.

As we approached the greenbelt, disturbed ground ahead. What could it be?

Gulp. A fresh velociraptor track! Either that or a giant roadrunner. Either way, not giant carnivores I'm keen to have roaming the greenbelt. Bad enough we have coyotes!

Joking aside, no idea what made these marks. No prankster kids giggling in the bushes. Nothing the landscapers would've done.

Spotted this cool old pickup in downtown Carlsbad today. Yes, from the car, but I ride through here all the time.

The weathered paint and signage looked authentically old, not faux.

On the doors, "BROADWAY SHELL, Bardstown, Ky." (near Louisville).

And on the sides of the bed, "IF WE CAN'T FIX IT... IT AIN'T BROKE!"
