The same riders and their strategy let Kristen Faulkner ride away from them and win a gold medal at the Olympics. They know how to race, but their world is small, and they don't respect outsiders.

Very exciting Stage 2 finish in the TdF Femmes. Well worth watching if you can access replays on Peacock or elsewhere. Could well be highlights on YouTube.
Mavi Garcia of Mallorca jumped out front at 10 km out. Never a big solo lead but also never caught, though not for lack of trying after 5 km out. Every time it looked like the peloton was about to close the gap, she ramped up another notch and stayed just ahead.
Truly amazing performance! Remarkably, she's the oldest stage winner in the women's TdF at age 41.
