First time out this year

Been out for the first time this year, weather has been good in past weeks but I have been too occupied.

Only did 20 miles today but it is good to be out again.

Will do Tregaron to Aberystwyth and back Friday.

Yesterday was my first time out this spring. did 42 miles on the D&H Rail Trail with a 600' elevation gain. Thought I would be able to coast most of the way back but I picked up a 15 - 20 mph headwind. Glad I brought the spare battery!

I like Welch 'Thursday Next' novels. Aberystwyth sounds beautiful. I just so happen to live in a place where I can ride every day of the year. I get a little hail about once in every five-years and it only makes me feel more alive on a ride, hardy and and hale. This time of year is the most beautiful in the hills but hot winds from inland are stating to dry the coastal Northern California grasses and wild flowers as they begin to go to seed.
