I have the same bag and rack. I had previously asked a local metal shop about doing something very similar. After this post, pretty sure I can do it myself.

Have you taken your bike in for service? Any issues with updates?

I live in Paradise. My choices, within reasonable driving distance, are limited. The only other Trek dealer is not setup to service e-bikes.

Brought mine in and asked the dealer. They said it was between Trek and me. Called Trek and the mumble-mouth that took the call eventually told me I needed to talk to the dealer. Took me 10 more minutes to get him to call the dealer. I'll call them tomorrow. Poorly orchestrated.

Time to bring mine in anyway. After 8 months of waiting to get home, Red needs a checkup and to get back on the road! Now to avoid all the debris trucks... At least 4 miles of the bike trail have been cleared!

Since I only was able to ride one more month, only have 965 on the bike now. Hoping I can ride sometime in the next eight weeks.

Added a seat post rack but it's not ideal. Beats riding with the pannier everywhere tho. I'll get some better final pics tomorrow. Time to ride a bit today.

Purchased on 6/30. 835 miles as of yesterday. Trying to ride every third day with each ride longer than the last. Right now, the only way to accomplish that is riding 2500' down and ten miles before putting in the miles and then climbing back home.

I'd like to know the answer, too, but looking for a tubeless solution.
