    In my experience that is what it is like. The amount of assist the bike gives is a combination of how hard you pedal, how fast you pedal and your assist level. So pedaling from a stop doesn't just jolt you forward. You've also got the throttle that get you moving faster as well.

    The assist kicks in at any speed below 28mph and performs the same whether you're riding at 10mph or 20mph, no matter the assist level. I don't know if the assist can be controlled beyond the level. I know you can limit the assist to lower than 28mph if you so choose.

    I have over 5000 miles on my CCS and I've had to contact support a few times. For the most part, they've been quick to respond. All of the problems I've had were covered under warranty too.

    Woah! This sounds like what just started happening to me. I spoke with a Juiced tech and they want me to send a video in, so I'm going to try to capture it. The weird thing is that it doesn't happen consistently for me. Most of the time pedaling from a stop is fine.

    That's what I'm thinking. After a few tries Juiced offered me a replacement controller. They should offer you one as well. Maybe take photos of the connectors and send it to them.
