    Yamaha Exiting US E-Bike Market

Many bought under fan appreciation sale because 5 year transferable warranty on the motor and battery. I called my dealer and they explained you can bring the e-bike VIN and purchase paperwork to any Yamaha motorcycle dealer and they can do the warranty transfer to the next owner. But for...

    Yamaha Exiting US E-Bike Market

Yamaha doesn't provide the warranty support directly, the dealer does. There is no one to talk to at Yamaha customer relations. Letter states "YMUS will continue to provide parts, service, and customer support in the United States both now and in support of our limited 5-year warranty". But...

    Anyone need a new battery?

Same battery as Crosscore RC?? If it is, just buy entire bike and get 2 batteries. https://ebikes508.com/collections/yamaha

Yamaha battery seems difficult to source and is a tad expensive....

Just buy another RC, the whole bike with 2 batteries is only 1200 right now. https://ebikes508.com/collections/yamaha

Bull grinder Evo vs Yamaha Wabash RT,

Chainring on the Bulls looks pretty small. Maybe OK for offroad but your not going to like that for commuting . No way your doing 20mph on it, yet the 28 they list.

Wabash RT or Civante for touring?

Nice choice. Congrats. Buddy I ride with has the Turbo Creo carbon. That's nice too. Creo 2 should be out soon.

Wabash RT or Civante for touring?

Wabash RT Youtube review: At 3 minute marker you can hear the headset rattle. Same noise as my Civante made before I switched the fork.

Wabash RT or Civante for touring?

No walk assist on Civane. The control is pretty basic.

Wabash RT or Civante for touring?

I have Civante. You will need to put a carbon fork on it to get rid of the headset rattle. Then you also gain some attaching points on the fork like Wabash RT already has. Keep in mind neither one has a carbon fork. Since Wabash RT has bigger 45mm tires, maybe it wont rattle. Maybe? Keep in...

    Crosscore rc rear rim/ speedometer

Sorry IDK, but the new tires look nice. Maybe the post about civante speed sensor would be helpful. https://forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/need-to-choose-hub-compatible-with-civante-speed-sensor.40355/

Carbon fork swap, Civante - Wabash - Urban Rush

That all stays same. It is really an easy swap. The steerer tube needs to be cut down so not everyone will be able to do the swap themselves but a LBS can do it. If going to do yourself, there are videos on Youtube for cutting steerer tube. Also you will need a brake bleed kit if don't already...

    Civante Upgrades

I posted here on EBR for what you need to swap to a carbon fork. FYI Civante is 11/8 to 11/4 tapered steerer. So odd duck for taper. 1 1/8 Straight with adapter crown race from crane creek.

Carbon fork swap, Civante - Wabash - Urban Rush

Looks good. It should have come with a carbon fork originally. Its nice to ride without the noise now.

Carbon fork swap, Civante - Wabash - Urban Rush

The headset bearings remain the same. Just changed the fork and crown race. Head tube noise is gone.

    Civante Fork, recall?/?

Wow, I'm surprised you were able to get a email or contact info for a person at Yamaha. I tried several times calling Yamaha customer relations and hit roadblock each time. They said there was nobody I could contact or be transferred to. MUST to go thru local dealer -- which that guy quit...
