    Yamaha Exiting US E-Bike Market

Many bought under fan appreciation sale because 5 year transferable warranty on the motor and battery. I called my dealer and they explained you can bring the e-bike VIN and purchase paperwork to any Yamaha motorcycle dealer and they can do the warranty transfer to the next owner. But for...

    Yamaha Exiting US E-Bike Market

Yamaha doesn't provide the warranty support directly, the dealer does. There is no one to talk to at Yamaha customer relations. Letter states "YMUS will continue to provide parts, service, and customer support in the United States both now and in support of our limited 5-year warranty". But...

    Anyone need a new battery?

Same battery as Crosscore RC?? If it is, just buy entire bike and get 2 batteries. https://ebikes508.com/collections/yamaha

Yamaha battery seems difficult to source and is a tad expensive....

Just buy another RC, the whole bike with 2 batteries is only 1200 right now. https://ebikes508.com/collections/yamaha

Bull grinder Evo vs Yamaha Wabash RT,

Chainring on the Bulls looks pretty small. Maybe OK for offroad but your not going to like that for commuting . No way your doing 20mph on it, yet the 28 they list.

Wabash RT or Civante for touring?

Nice choice. Congrats. Buddy I ride with has the Turbo Creo carbon. That's nice too. Creo 2 should be out soon.

Wabash RT or Civante for touring?

Wabash RT Youtube review: At 3 minute marker you can hear the headset rattle. Same noise as my Civante made before I switched the fork.

Wabash RT or Civante for touring?

No walk assist on Civane. The control is pretty basic.

Wabash RT or Civante for touring?

I have Civante. You will need to put a carbon fork on it to get rid of the headset rattle. Then you also gain some attaching points on the fork like Wabash RT already has. Keep in mind neither one has a carbon fork. Since Wabash RT has bigger 45mm tires, maybe it wont rattle. Maybe? Keep in...

Carbon fork swap, Civante - Wabash - Urban Rush

The headset bearings remain the same. Just changed the fork and crown race. Head tube noise is gone.

    Civante Fork, recall?/?

Wow, I'm surprised you were able to get a email or contact info for a person at Yamaha. I tried several times calling Yamaha customer relations and hit roadblock each time. They said there was nobody I could contact or be transferred to. MUST to go thru local dealer -- which that guy quit...

Carbon fork swap, Civante - Wabash - Urban Rush

I swapped out my Civante fork to a carbon fork. Info on what you need. Stock fork is 11/8 taper to 11/4 size which is not common size head tube. I wanted a fork with replaceable crown race. I found one on ebay that is 11/8 straight. Sure there are also pricy ones from Whiskey or Ritchey ect. 1)...

Yamaha warranty. Something to consider. "Frame made wrong"

Without any help from Yamaha customer support to figure this out -- I fixed the creaking / snapping noise by replacing the fork with aftermarket one. If anyone else experiences similar noise from the headset, I will make a seperate post about swapping the fork. The stock fork uses non...

YDX Moro Pro Problem after Problem

Yamaha bicycle dealers can come and go. The sell some bad bikes in your area and the dealer gives up. Then your 3 yr warranty basically disappears. Yamaha plans it that way. They need to unload those bad bikes somewhere.

YDX Moro Pro Problem after Problem

Great comment. I hope they get yours fixed. Unfortunately your clock is ticking and it takes Yamaha 2 months to get parts.

Yamaha warranty. Something to consider. "Frame made wrong"

Yamaha replaced the bike with a different bike which makes the same exact headset noise... It was only quiet for first 20 miles, then the noise started showing up again... It gets worse as the miles go up.... Civante = Defective product!

Does the Wabash RT exist in the wild?

Wow, that's annoying. Did they find issue?

    Yamaha Civante part out value????

Well, they need to buy it at the right price so they have a profit. So the shipping both to get the bike to their warehouse and final customer comes out of the offer price. But on the other hand, seems like easy way to get rid of a bike if you dont want the hassle or a 1099 from ebay.

    Yamaha Civante part out value????

Their offer was pretty close to my guess above. Less than half of a new one. I think its worth more in parts than that.
