for the records, issue for which it did't turn on seems fixed by cleaning battery connectors as said above, while battery capacity is gone back to normal values considering it has 92% efficiency.

those are default values, never touched them so i guess level 4 is at 250% and 5 is at 350% , but let me say also that those values are for commuting on an almost flat ride so no big stress for the engine, but for sure i could do 3x18 km ride with a full charge, and arriving at home with 5-10%...

it was more or less 60km at level 4 (where 5 is the max), now i guess it's around 45 at the same level and it won't me allow to take a third day of commuting with the same charge.

i don't have other batteries to check with, but what i can say is that the charger even when connected to the power does not show any sign of life, led is off, button does not do anything, cold and dead. while the battery still has 10% of charge...

hi all so only after 18 months and a maybe 40 charges my battery charge GLI180AA decided to stop working and left me stranded. what's annoying is that 1) it's terribly expensive i can't buy a new one, and 2) giant warranty takes ages to kick in and send me a new one. This bike disappoints me...

just for the records, i went for a shimano cues 10V (cassette + chain + derailleur + lever), a great improvement over the Alivio installed by default.

sorry to hear that, mine works fine and it's about 3 months now. but honestly i can't be sure it's just a software upgrade or a shim inserted under the battery to keep it firmly installed.

on my issue, they said battery has been upgraded in the firmware, this should resolve the intermittent switch off. I will take back the bike tomorrow and post an update after some Km's.
