Does your normal ride include hills? I recently purchased a ebike with a geared hub motor. It handles hills just fine until they are very steep.
The ghm has much lower maintenance costs than a mid drive since the hub does not load the bikes drive train. Hub motors are much less $ and generally...
All of the kt displays I've used have been plug n play with kt controllers.
You'll need to know more info on your setup. Download the manual for your display to see p and c parameters.
No experience with Aegis.
Website is very suspect. No mention of who manufactures the cells. No mention of pack configuration or even how many cells are in the pack!
There is no such thing as a "deep cycle" lithium ion battery. Li batteries are still very fragile, unlike a flooded lead acid...
You don't want a dd hub for slow going. With 2 of them you'll end up with a tank, after battery, controllers etc. Interesting read based on awd experience
Lightweight is where you want to be. It's all about gearing for torque. I'm working on a project for riding deep sand based on this guys...
You may have cooked the hall sensors in the motor. Hall sensors control the timing of the phases, without which, the motor will judder.
Try another controller or run the current controller sensorless.
Sounds like you should buy stock in the parts co!
I would contact Luna and see if the power delivery can be smoothed out. Check the hall sensors. Another optional I've seen is used with a grin baserunner controller is what they call electric freewheel. It keeps the drivetrain loaded (small...
Recently upgraded to 2.8x27.
5 Schwalbe Nobby Nics. Awesome improvement in ride quality on the gravel and off road. Grip is very predictable in the wet.
And they were on sale for half off!
Another awesome ride yesterday! Panthertown near Cashiers NC.
The G9 has 220 miles and 25hrs on it. The ZTZ dual chamber air fork is getting returned, won't hold air.
Beautiful fall day in WNC.
G9 just turned 200 miles. Recent upgrades include Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.8" tires and a dual chamber air fork.
The wider tires really smooth out the ride!
Welcome to the forum!
The mountains of NGA certainly require a bit more power. I'm up the road from you near Franklin, NC. If you haven't ridden the greenway in Franklin, put it on the to do list. Several nice breweries in the area after the ride.
Where do you ride?
