With 125% tariffs, will the e-bike market die?

We just got back from a cruise and spent time with 3 Canadian couples. They didn't appear repulsed and spent time with us more than once. One talked about the 51st state thing (or 52nd if we got Greenland first) and thought it was hilarious any was offended by the shenanigans. Ya'll need to lighten up.
I would have been polite too... it's what we do.

That's great that most Canadians are reasonable... But how do you explain the total fuckin moronic notion that Greenland, Canada or anyone else wants a part of that man's idiotic delusions?

So IF the bottom is another 10% and runs back up you'll miss it?

That's why I buy several times on the way down and enjoy the ride back up. I've never caught a "market top or bottom" in 45 years; happy with buying lower than I sold and selling higher than I bought.
Nope, if the markets drop 10% more then starts to rise consistently(if we ever get consistency from trump), I'll get back in. That said, another 20% drop would just be far too tempting to miss and I'd be "all in" at that point. I'd probably dollar cost average if the bleeding stops around 10% and might miss the entire 10% rise on the way back up but that beats being in for the 20% drop. I too have been known to double down when I thought I saw the bottom but of course, it wasn't. Makes for some good "DOH!" moments

It's cute you take it serious. Greenland yes, Canada no.
And that's where you show your true character.
He'll say anything, especially if he knows it'll get a rise out of anyone. Real presidential.
And even more pathetic are those that are ok with it.
You may not know it now... But you're the s*it headed for the fan.

Only time will tell; party on!

I really think he plays like a magician; look here while you don't see something else is happening. Also he loves to stir up libtards.

Trump is now a magician along with being a genius, an outstanding business man and leader of a university amongst other things. He's so brilliant the average person can't see when he's playing 4d chess. like he's doing with tariffs. Got it

Classic double top on this chart.. look out below. I'm not a big technical analysis guy but if I were, I'd be concerned. LOL.. I'm concerned anyway

Last night I felt this momentary pang, and as that sharp emotion evaporated into the darkness all that I had was one word -- depression.
Kinda scary, but just a right brain flash I suppose.

And this is somehow acceptable to you?
He's only fooling the sheep that voted for him.

So now we have a kindergarten magician fooling the simple... a homeland security feeb' that can't even secure her own purse /security ID or start a sentence without brown nosing... and a secretary of defense that's on his phone chatting military ops' details like a 14 year old girl!
Fuckin' children.

If I'm not wrong, a vast majority of American voters chose Trump and Vance. After January 6th. Eat lead.

Anyway, I'm glad to picture the United States devoid of the Chinese "e-bike" scrap.
You are wrong. A slim majority of the popular vote did vote for him, 49.8 versus 48.3 (1.9% of votes were cast for other candidates.) A 1.5% "mandate". However, total voter turnout was 63.9% of all eligible voters. Which means that out of all eligible voters (including the ones who could not be bothered to vote 😒), Cheeto received .96% more votes than Harris. Less than 1% cannot be classified as "the vast majority".

Jus' sayin'.

Real presidential
Definetly unconventional.

For those that are not aware, Trump was not on my list of favorites for Presidential candidates. I agree with his "what", but not necessarily with his "how". We are fortunate to be able to take advantage of the upcoming (whenever it happens) market rebound.

For those that are truly concerned, sorry you feel that way.

For my Canadian buddy, as I recall you are in Vancouver. We'll be in Vancouver for a cruise departure in May; should I wear a red, white, and blue bandana or can you all pick out USers without?

It is probably better if I drop out so you all can put your blood pressure cuffs away.

Back to Ebike Tariffs.

Yes, I now understand it was the electoral system that made the impression of "vast majority".

I havent noticed anything, all china goods direct seem the same, but we are about to ramp up EV tariffs, not buying one of those this lifetime unless Im forced past my limit.
Actually being charged the customs tariff is the issue, after years of ordering bike parts direct Ive only been hit once with a 5% bill.
More and more these days Im looking at older tech, old stock or second hand.
The way I ride and treat my bikes isnt fair on anyone buying it, I keep till scrap...and beyond 😋

From (2) packages delivered while we were gone.

'Merica!

Full disclosure: the other (3) packages were Vietnam, China, and China manufactured, US companies.

I can agree with some of the what... but not at the level of importance he gives it or uses it to divide.
The how should be totally unacceptable to all and the fact that you don't understand that makes you more than complicit
