Hello All

This is a brand new bike, 2 days old and it never worked. I have 2 major problems.

1. the battery slides forward in the frame and loses contact with the power clips so it doesnt power on... if I tape foam to the top of the battery, it wont slide forward and it works for some time until I hit a bump.

2. when I press the throttle, its like I hit the brakes. The wheels no longer want to spin. They sieze up, just lock up and stop moving.

I tried to call Yamee customer suppprt and their number is not accepting calls.

Anyone else experiencing these issues? Im about to request a refund from Amazon.

Overall, Is it a good bike? I do think you get a good number of items included in the price. Color LCD, 8 speed Shimano Altus. Honestly I cant find alot of ppl who say there's an outstanding difference between 7 and 8 gears. LCD lights, front and rear (brake light has an ongoing and additional brighter brake light when you use your brakes). 14.5 battery and 750w nominal specs.

Now for the not so good news. I hope this helps other buyers.

1) Please listen to the video. I using the bike in the default mode. I dont know what needs to be done to the rear motor. However, when you change the setting to sport and 0-9 power level range options, the motor and/or rear area doesnt make that, what sounds like a "I need some oil" sound.

2) look at the picture showing the power connector cable on the right side of the bike. I guess my foot or something kept snagging it and slowly pulled it apart. You can prevent that by adding zip ties to both ends and then a 3rd zip tie to make sure the two connectors do not come apart. Its safe and snug.

3) Look at the battery picture. This a a BIG PROBLEM!!!! Please notice the foam at the top of the battery. If I dont have that foam, the battery will go too far inside the frame. It doesn't make contact with the power connectors inside the bike. The foam pushes against the frame enough to where it makes a snug fit. Without doing this, the bike wont power on at all.

3b) Using the foam also stops the battery from rattling inside the frame. With no foam, the battery will knock around inside the frame, left and right.
Summary:
Its my first ebike, so its fun. Im still skeptical about that noise when using the bike at a lower speed mode (on eco or normal and 0-3). I will take it to a bike shop and have an expert tell me whats wrong. I shouldnt have to do that with a brand new bike in this price range, let alone for a bike that costs 1,000 or 500 dollars. Ill edit this review once I can get that answer.

I would say the seller is VERY RESPONSIVE but you will need to message them through Amazon. I was, (and still a little at this point) worried about their customer service contact number not accepting calls at this time. That makes me very uncomfortable!!!
