Yamaha pw-x-2 motor removal

I got a speed box to fit
to my haibike pw-x-2 2020 need to lower the motor Anybody knows What bolts to remove

The only thing is I’ve only got two bolts on the left hand side because it’s the PWX2 2020 and it still won’t come outAny ideas

The earlier PW motors like on my Haibike Full FatSix simply have the three retaining bolts holding the motor to the frame as shown in the videos that @Timpo showed.

The newer motors have two bolts instead of three on the non-drive side of the motor as well as two smaller screws on the chain ring side. Take a look at this video to watch the bolt and screws removal. I used thread locking compound (Blue LocTite) as well as a small torque wrench to torque in the three big bolts on my PW motor, this eliminates any possibility of the motor bolts loosening up later. Just be sure to use a thread locking compound that can be broken using simple hand tools and not the kind that require lots of heat. Good luck and let us know how it worked out for you.
