Yamaha LED to LCD display conversion

I'd like to retrofit/convert my LED display on my SDURO (Yamaha) Hardnine to an LCD display, has anyone here done that before and know if it's doable?

LOL.... you are welcome to it, but first I need to figure out converting to the LCD display.

Check out ridewill.it.. they have the parts you may need. Of course, there is no guarantee it will work. but the same bikes in 2016 came with either controller. i just smashed mine off again!

Just purchased the LED unit on eBay.. hopefully it will allow me to downgrade to a more reliable state

According to this diagram, it sure looks like a plug and pray swap
