X-treme Baha 48V bike wont turn on without disconnecting and re-connecting the battery

I need to reconnect the battery almost every morning before my X-treme Baja 48v folding e-bike will power on. Once it powers on it almost always works all day, but the next morning it is usually dead until I un-plug then plug back in the battery. Their support has been absolutely no help, and suggest I send back the battery for testing. I am thinking it might be a physical connection problem where the battery connects with the battery dock bracket. The battery is housed within the bike frame and makes the connection to the battery dock bracket when you unfold the bike. Has anyone else ever seen this kind of behavior or have any ides what could be the problem?
