Wow, you are bitter person, aren't you?

FWIW, here is the complete and unedited run.

Obviously you have to resort to petty insults when you cannot argue facts. Pathetic yet utterly predictable. :)

1. do you have any evidence of a recording of watts generated? what is your source? I've asked at least a half dozen times so obviously you believe any fake news you consume.

2. can you explain why she needs to generate 700 watts if the force with which she is being pushed forward rises exponentially? Remember she is being pushed forward with the strength of a professional athlete at 150 mph, so this will multiply to the force of several athletes pushing her forward at 167, and then an entire team, or entire stadium full of people at 184 mph!

3. if the risk of falling drops sharply the faster she rides, should she be congratulated for staying upright? Can we now call this a staying upright on your bike when your bike becomes more stable at high speeds record?

4. She is untethered at 1:28. Do you see a large difference in effort before and after?

btw: I've actually called reporters before asking for evidence of some of their claims and they've openly admitted they do not have the evidence. Reporters routinely pass along 2ndhand and 3rdhand uncorroborated claims and try to pass them off as fact if it fits their political agenda.

Interesting tidbit: she actually gloats at the end of the ride and taunts Fred Rompelberg telling him to see if he can top that speed. Totally classless, as he was one of her sponsors! And also because Fred is now in his 70's. Trashy human being this Denise.

As I have said all along, this is NOT a speed record! She is being sucked (or "pushed" as she put it) inside a vacuum, with harder and harder force the higher the drag car pulls her.

It's called being facetious. A joke. I'd be very surprised if Mr. Rompelberg took it badly. Rather, I am sure he is happy for her, unlike you.

It is a record, as defined by the rules of the game.

Not a joke. Bad form, trashy behavior. Classless. At his expense. Both financial and personal. Of course, since it's a woman, she can never be criticized.

So, no source on "700 watts" eh?

It's not a "speed" record, she broke the record on a tether (she was pulled to 167 mph) and then was pulled inside the slipstream.

Notice she nods for the car to go faster immediately after she is untethered. She is generating almost no power on her own, just coasting inside a slipstream.

Are you still hung up on that?

I guess your reading comprehension is lacking. I said it was a record. If you want to say it is not a speed record, fine. But it is a record nonetheless, as defined by the rules of the game.

Watts aside, she does have to pedal to stay within the slipstream. If there were no gear and no pedals, she would not have gotten up to 184 mph. Whether it was easy or difficult, neither of us can really say. Well, I know you think it was easy. But being a keyboard warrior is always easy.
