Whatever it is it looks very heavy.😳
I pray we are not far from the day that battery power doubles or more with actually less bulk and weight. I suspect this to be not far at all into the future. That will be a great day indeed. :D

Has anyone bought anything from hi-c,, what are their prices like,.I sent them an email asking them what they would charge to rebuild mine my battery. Have not heard back from yet,

I'd like to know too. Maybe I'll contact them and try to find out. I like that they use only Samsung, LG, and Panasonic parts and all the reviews for them are positive. Must be doing something right.

Patrick is fair and competitive. But rebuilds aren’t always a cheap alternative. I’ve watched HiC successfully rebuild since he first started his business. He’s honest and reliable, AND more than just a business, an actual eBike guy.

Kev-sounds like they never got back you with a price. Hate when that happens. They did give me a price last week to rebuild my 48v 1000w. Ecotric Seagull battery. I posted that info on the Ecotric site for another guy with the same bike as mine with bad battery problems. I don't know what size battery you have but the price I was given was basically the same price as a new one. Difference being the rebuild would be done using high quality Samsung cells, with a 1 year warranty. A new one, from Ecotric, would contain the same low grade Chinese cells which I have now, with a 1.5 year warranty. That's the choice I have from them. It may be different in you're case. They can tell you how good the battery is that you now have and the best option. Like everything else the prices are up and if you want high quality it will cost more. I'd try contacting them again for a current price. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

From my research the Ecotric case is not proprietary. It’s used by several other eBike OEMs. I’m hoping I’ll have the case sorted this week. I did find one OEM using LiFePo4 pouches in the same case. Perhaps more important than the cells is the material used to build and the better BMS.
