Have you seen repairs like this, have photos of how bit could be done? Something like removing the flywheel to see if there's any wire left to extend?

Ha no, but it is fixable, taking it apart is easy, have you got the wire that snapped off?
Its just really fiddly getting a new wire back through the shaft and soldering/sodering it to the wires inside.
Ive done a few and Im no expert.
The problem with using the original cable is it will end up 3 inches shorter and might not reach your controller on the bike, you'll need to buy a new length, they are not expensive, dont botch it with cheap wires, it has to be high temp insulation

It looks like your axle has spun around and twisted/broke the wires off.
The flat spots on the axle are supposed to grab the dropouts to keep the axle from spinning.

Your dropouts are probably damaged and sloppy now so you will need torque arms if you fix your motor cable to keep the axle from spinning and wrecking your new cable.

That shiny piece of metal bolted on to your frame is your torque arm, and it is replaceable, if you can find one.

It is stronger metal than the aluminum frame and is supposed to keep your axle from spinning.

If your axle has spun, then the frame would be damaged on the other side too.

I don't have a replaceable torque arm built into the frame on the other side, so a spun axle would round out the dropout slot and the axle would be sloppy.
A torque arm on that side would stop the axle from rotating, but the axle would still be sloppy in the slot.
