Winter Sucks

It's not the heat but the humidity that'll get ya.

"Yeah but it's a dry cold" pisses off a most Northern dwellers, but I think that there's some credence to the expression.

I remember being FREEZING cold when the temperature is hovering at the freezing point.

Damp air fluctuating between sublimation and condensation absorbs HUGE amounts of energy.

Water truly is magical stuff.

It's the only substance known that loses density when it condenses to a solid.
Without that unique property of water, life as we know it couldn't exist.

The oceans would freeze from the bottom up.
(but that wouldn't matter anyway cuz we gots subs that can nuke the ice and put it where its supposed to be. )

I am working on two thrashed 20" wheel kid's bikes, then a 1980's Rockhopper that has a very nice frame, headset and brakes. To ward off boredom I am listening to bomb shelter radio. l know it is trying hard to not try to be cool and that is what makes it cool. https://www.internet-radio.com/station/megatoncafe/ I did get in one ride before breakfast and sat in the sun with a cup of joe reading. The bikes are for five-year-old twins, who's mom knows everyone. It is a beautiful day but I have work.
