Which Battery for my DIY eMTB?

I just built up my custom MTB with a Bafang 36v 500w mid-drive kit. I purchased a 20Ah Yose triangle battery for the bike, but rather than wait, I took the 11.6Ah battery off a different ebike and completed a 32 mile mtb ride with over 4000' of elevation gain...with ~20% battery remaining (allegedly). So, which battery do I keep. the 11.6Ah Samsung cell, kettle battery OR the brand new Yose 20Ah triangle battery?
Kettle Pros and Cons
pro: took me on a 32+ 4000'+ ride with life remaining
con: does not fit the frame as intended. Battery must be first inserted into casing/holder, then entire unit clamped to the frame, so no easy removal
pro: when clamped on, it is not going anywhere.
con: takes up the same space as the bigger battery
pro: Samsung cells = long lasting, reliable battery.
pro: weight is ~4lbs less than the 20Ah battery

Triangle pros and cons
pro: 20Ah should provide A LOT of range
con: do I really need 20ah (~4lbs heavier)?
pro: fits the frame really well
con: will the velcro straps hold up on the rough trails I frequent?
pro: Shape fits my other 36v 500w commuter, while the kettle does not.

I know I could keep both (have one as a back up)...and the Yose is new, so I could simply sell it cheap. I appreciate any advice from those who have more ebike experience than I, which is most of you.
