What's the maximum amount of watts in a hub motor for a sun traditional tricycle

Hi,
I'm a new member of this site,and what I want to know more about ebike conversion kits in regards to up right adult tricycles.
My question is What's the maximum amount of watts in a hub motor for a sun traditional tricycle?
Any thoughts.

Maximum? That is not a bike made for speed, so why the max? Just about any size will move it up the safe speed of 15mph. I wouldn't suggest anything over 500w. Those things will really tip over easily on the curves!

They sell it with a front hub motor 500-1000 watts. Seems like a lot of power.

I'd have to agree with Rich C. and HarryS . Any faster than 15-20mph becomes unsafe on a trike. I'd go with a 500 watt front hub. More is not always a good thing!
