What would You Build?

If you wanted a Adult 20" Trike. You lived in a relatively flat terrain. You want a combo that will give you range of 20 to 30 miles. You do not want to go fast mainly ride on thr sidewalks. You total weight is bike and rider about 230 lbs.

Is riding on sidewalks legal in your city? Many are not.

I'd probably get a Schwinn Meridian. There was one selling for 100 bucks at a garage sale last summer around the corner, but I didn't have room for it in my garage. They used to be about $250 new. I got a spare front motor in a 26" wheel sitting around. Also have some electric parts sitting around that are not that good for an ebike, but would work for a slow trike. Jeez, I should have bought that crate.

Here's the motor. Still available from Battery Clearing House for $45. $100 is enough to get a controller. In spite of your low mileage experience, I've got this motor on a beater cruiser bike pulling me, a hitcher and my granddaughter, That's over 300 pounds with a used $50 scooter battery.
