I am totally confused, can someone, anyone please help me!
I need to buy a front wheel ebike kit for my trike. The wheel size measures 16 and one half " Do I need a 20"kit or 24"
Help!!

Do you want a 20" tall skinny tire or a 24" tall fat tire? You will need a fat tire fork, which is 135mm wide at the axle, in order to fit a motor with a fat tire. The typical front fork for a normal tire is 100mm wide.

I'm going to have to back up and wait for you to answer Timpo's question. THe rims for the above wheels are exactly 16.0 inches in diameter although widths differ. If your wheel is really 16.5", it would have to be a 14" wheel. Anyway your current tire will have the tire size on it.

The wheel diameter is 16 and 1/2"
With the tire it is 22 1/2"??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

It is a fat tire trike!
The tire says 20
A photograph or make/model of the trike would help.

If it's a 20" fat tire (3 to 4 inches wide), a typical 20" front-wheel ebike kit may not fit such wide tires. They usually come with rims under 30mm wide, and fat tires need 50+

On another post, vkray quoted; “…I have a fat tire trike I built. It is supposed to be a 24"? I purchased a front wheel drive kit from amazon…”.

It would be interesting to see an actual photo of this alleged trike as the OP has made many posts with a number of vague questions.

Come on vkray, show us the trike. That way we may be able to help know what you’re dealing with.
