What did you buy for your new bike this weekend (Black Friday...)

I finally put a hitch on my Abarth (not my picture, but same color)

Cool. But it looks like your car won't fit the tiny parking spaces anymore.;)

Quadlock and case for me as well. I sure hope it works with my wireless charging as i haven't plugged in my phones at home in many years. According to postal tracking app, it arrives today!

Edit: Just arrived! 😁
Edit #2: easy to install case, and wireless charging works on all my charging pads. 😁😁

I also picked up the QuadLock for my new Pixel 5, and my wireless charging still works with the case. But yes, it is a thicker case then I am used to. The stem mount and out front mount that I picked up for my bikes work great..
I've been using Quadlocks for 3 years (bike mount, car windshield attachment, and running arm band). As mentioned, the case is fairly thick and on the heavy side, but when your phone is mounted to the bike it is VERY secure.
Having said that, my iPhone did fall off my bike, while travelling at 30kph, but it wasn't the fault of the Quadlock. I was in a hurry to get going again after using my phone, and didn't attach it correctly. The phone bounced along the pavement a number of times, but still worked fine (except for two small cracks in the screen that didn't cause any problems)
As I mentioned I've been using the Quadlock for 3 years and I still can't mount the phone to the lock as smoothly as shown in Quadlock's promotional video.

Nice one! 👍

Picked up a fast 4amp charger and an extra long DC extension cable....@ 28 bucks for the fast charger, I dont think I have ever seen a charger go for this cheap...let alone a fast charger, but it works great! My charge times are cut in half when I need...

Also got a new horn/alarm, the Juiced Horn, which is an actual motorcycle horn and is loud enough for the streets. Pretty awesome.

Where did you get this and how much if you don't mind me asking buddy? I may get one if it fits mine. Awesome net! 👍
Ended up returning the yellow one and got this one for $5.99 on Amazon:

It's 11.5x11.5in which is smaller than the 13x13 but fits on the rack better (still had to fold it over so it's tight).

Thanks buddy, I'll check them out. 👍

That charger looks very similar to cheap_o YZ Power 2amp back up charger that I got. If the 4a has similar internals you may want to change your mounting by 180° as on mine the fan is on the output cord side. The fan will work much better if it's not fighting the natural heat convection.

Interesting...
I have a small machine shop and from the research I've done, it should be a fairly simple project. The upper tube of the 27.2mm dropper has an outside diameter which is an exact fit for the inside of the 27.2mm Kinekt post. All that is necessary is to cut the tubes to the right length and join the two with a seatpost clamp. It will however reduce the range of the dropper from 110mm to 90mm.

Bought a PNW Pine dropper seatpost and a Kinekt 2.1 suspension seatpost during good Friday sales.

I'm going to combine them to make a suspension / dropper seatpost.

6zfshdb, interesting project. Please post how this turns out for you. I've been waiting for Cirrus to make one but last I heard they had nothing in the works.

The only issue with this project is you need at least 6" of exposed seat tube on your bike for there to be any useful drop range.

This particular project is for bikes with a 27.2 or 28.6 mm (shim required) seat tubes. This idea may work for larger seat tubes but I have not researched it.

I like it when a Frankenstein works out so well.

Hmmm, you just might be able to sell that product/service!
