Wellgo pedals Do Not Spin Freely

Hello fellow Juiced owners,

I just received the CCX today and when I was installing the Wellgo pedals I noticed they were quite stiff and did not spin freely. hey will not even spin 1 rotation when I flick them with my fingers. Are they supposed to be this way? If not, how do I adjust them to spin more freely? Everything was pretty much installed out of the box except the pedals and front fender and front wheels. I can't wait to test ride this puppy. I am a newbie , this is my first E bike purchase.

In my experience the pedals will loosen up, they're probably packed with grease which would inhibit the spin to begin with. I've found with most bikes I've had over the years (decades) wheels, steering, brakes, and pedals take a while to loosen up and bed in. Same with cars, mileage always improves over time, try turning a wheel on a brand new car/truck.

Mine were tight also, they'll loosen up over time.
