I have been researching this for some time as I don't want to buy a cover only to have it rip apart going down the road. There are lots and lots of light weight storage covers, but only a handful of Transport rated covers. The criteria I am working with.
Bike _ Lectric XP 3.0 step through. 45" High, 67" long, 29" wide at handlebars (14" wide at carry basket behind seat).
Bike Rack - Swagman E-Spec rated for RV use on rear of 5th wheel.
From discussions and reviews I want at least 600D fabric and water proof, not water resistant.
Previously several folks recommended Formosa. They have 600D fabric, but only water resistant https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WENDU...ff6-4cee-99b4-64899dd682ef&pd_rd_plhdr=t&th=1 I don't need the transparent inserts and the bike on the back of the RV will not cover the tail lights. I prefer a solid cover so folks cant see the bike
The next recommended one was from Team Obsidian https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09PBXRJ49/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=A3L4KANMNT6NVX&th=1 but the height for the Large single bike is only 44". I want enough height to wrap under the bike on the rack and not have the bottom open to spray. the next size up is 46" high. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09PBXP7VZ/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=A3L4KANMNT6NVX&th=1
Then I ran across a HD 800D water proof fabric off brand - Faireach https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DHV3Z4VL/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=AMDDFHK79JBQ9&psc=1 It has good reviews and the size requirements are good. However other than what Amazon is showing I can't find any other sources for information.
I plan to use extra strapping and possibility a net to contain the cover for flapping.
So for those in the know what are your thoughts? Are there others I should consider? Please remember waterproof and at least 600D.
