I believe Velotric is a fairly new entry into the ebike market.
One of the founders associated with Lime scooters, which seem to be everywhere.
Discover 1 was their first release - of which I bought two. A high bar for me and a step through for Mrs.
500 watt, 5 pas, 7 gears, 48 volt battery
New into ebikes, so I have nothing to compare to, but I'm sure pleased with them so far. Looking forward to some warmer weather so I can spend more time riding.

I bought a Discover 1 for myself initially. However, there is no adjustability to the handlebar other than tilt. The cable length is too short to use an adjustable stem.

On the other hand, it fits my wife fine, especially once I fitted it with a shorter stem that brought the handlebar closer to her.

I like the fact that it's has five PAS levels and hydraulic brakes. Bright headlight and tail light.

I, too, am looking forward to warmer weather. Hope to do a lot of riding together.

I own a velotric discovery. Like most of the cheap bikes is has cruise control (level one goes to 12 mph, level2 to 16 etc.). Impossible to ride at 5 mph with assist. I am currently having a new controller made to fix this. I'm 6-1 and the handlebars were way too low. I pulled new liners and cables for the rear brakes and shifter to give me the capability to move the handle bars up-which I did.

Does that mean the pedal assist level 1 is too fast for 5 mph? I heard from one reviewer it cut out around 5 mph. And, I guess possibly it's not adjustable. I really would like an ebike that assists at very low speeds........ Thanks!!
