Here’s the newly released Velotric Nomad 2 which I’ve been testing for several months. Main Features: 750 watts (1300 peak), 90Nm of torque and the motor is SUPER quiet, 15 PAS levels, torque sensor AND cadence sensor (you can switch in the menu), hydraulic brakes, 203mm front brake rotors and 180mm in the rear, 100mm travel in the front suspension, push button cruise control, OTA firmware updates, Apple Find My (also supported by Android), 500 lumen headlight, rear turn signals and brake lights, large horizontal color display, 720Wh battery (UL Listed), suspension seatpost, adjustable stem, IPX6 bike and IPX7 battery. Let me know if you have any questions!

I will ask the question that everyone will want to know:

List the reasons to buy this ebike instead of the Aventon Aventure 2.

Nomad 2 has BOTH a torque sensor and cadence sensor, Adventure 2 only has a torque sensor. Nomad 2 has 15 PAS levels, Adventure 2 has 4. Nomad 2 front fork has 100mm of travel, Adventure 2 has 80mm. Nomad 2 has push-button cruise control, Adventure 2 does not. Nomad 2 has a suspension seatpost, Adventure 2 it's optional. Nomad 2 peak motor watts is 1,300, Adventure 2 is 1,130. Nomad 2 motor torque is 90 Nm, Adventure 2 is 80 Nm. Nomad 2 has Apple Find My, Adventure 2 does not. Nomad 2 front brake rotor is 203 mm, Adventure 2 is 180 mm. Nomad 2 has an adjustable stem, Adventure 2 is optional. Nomad 2 front headlight is 500 lumens, Adventure 2 is 300 lumens. Nomad 2 can be set for Class 1, 2, or 3, Adventure 2 can be set for Class 2 or 3. Nomad 2 bike has IPX6 rating and battery rating of IPX7, Adventure 2 bike and battery have no IPX ratings.

Thanks for the info...this should help a lot of people! Did they happen to change the Torque/Cadence selection option so it can be done on the bike's display instead of having to go through the app like on my Discover 2?

Find My (also supported by Android)

Can you talk about this? You can use the "Find My" on android. My Nomad 2 is on order (hopefully - tariffs, yuk), so I can't play with it yet. I saw there is some kind of Apple Find android app.

Thanks.

Interesting choice between this and the Lectric XPeak 2.0. The Lectric seems to be a better value with larger battery for less $$$ (if you believe the spec). This seems to have better components (besides the battery).... Larger low gear, Shimano Acera vs Altus, 100mm suspension, more electronics (brake light, turn signals, torque & cadence mode, cruise control).
