Hi All,

Recently my mum purchased the above bike. Great, but she gets battery anxiety. I was just curious how much battery do the equipped lights actually use? I’ll probably suggest if she’s concerned to get the extender battery instead of worrying about the lights as they are useful to be seen!

An LED bike light is probably around 2 watts, so with a 320 watt hour main battery, you could leave the light on for about six and a half days on a full charge.

Or to put it another way, on a 4 hour ride, it will use 2.5% of your battery life.

(these numbers could be off by a factor of two depending on the actual light)
