Congrats on that distance.
My guess is the odometer will roll to all zeros.
Change the reading to miles. It will read less. Lol 😂 just joking. That would be too difficult to be constantly converting!

EDIT
I somehow left out the important word NOT in my first sentence.😳 Fixed now

I do hope I was NOT offending with my comment and photoshopping of your display. I really would like to hear what happend after 9999 even if I have many rides to do myself on my Vado until it says 9999.

Ok so have done 10000km now! Bit of an achievment thats the good news. The bad news is the display stays on 9999. Thats disapppointing.Had to go into mission control app to see the real distance. I have asked my LBS to ask the question what can be done????

Disappointing it is.
Will be interesting to hear what your LBS says.
Would also be interesting to know what it’s like on other brands displays.

I like my Vado a lot even if Specialized seems to suffer from ”bad luck” with displays and some of the software, but I wasn’t expecting this.
The original trip meter that reset itself if motor/battery was turned off was absolutely impossible for me to understand. It was however fixed when I bought my first Vado in July 2018.
The odo that doesn’t save all the distance. How many Vado riders have compared the trip meter and the odo after a day’s riding where you have turned the battery off one or more times during stops? I have.
I noticed it after one day as a Vado owner. It was very clear as I started at 0 on both trip and odo.
The odo registers the distance but sort of saves it in intervals. I’ll dig up the answer I got from Specialized if anyone is interested.
I’ve noticed this on my new Vado too.

Cant say I noticed any difference in the trip meter and odo. Im more than happy with the performance of the Vado and plan to keep it for a long time. I will let you know when i get an answer back.

So had the response back from my LBS. 'Specialized are aware of this issue and there will be a software update to fix the issue in the near future'
Since the two years having the bike there has been a few issues but to Specialized credit they seem to get addressed.
