Vado 6 power issue

So I've been riding this Turbo 6 for several years and currently have over 27,000 miles. While riding up hill at fast speed the bike will occasionally lose power briefly. Has anyone else had this happen? Specialized (says) they haven't heard of the issue... And is there a way to reset the electronics?
Thanks Bud

Only uphill and high speed? If so sounds like heat. There are threads dealing with loss of power that usually involved battery contacts but not just under high load.

Art! Thanks for the reply. I do this ride frequently and in different outside temps. And use approx same effort on the hill. So the only real difference would be the temp and the most recent event it was 60 degrees... Thoughts? Bud

Check that the air vents in the down tube aren't blocked . 60 degree weather is perfect. Do you have a TCD display? Or just check battery temp .

So like it needs a new controller or one of the battery cells or more of them have some issues.

I had this issue when my 2020 Vado 5.0 was new (surging). My bike was still under warranty then so they changed display first and then the motor. I have been fine since then with 3,000 miles.
I am sure yours does not have the same issue as mine.
mid only happens on uphill it points to heat. Are you using turbo mode when this happens?
If yes try lower assist level and see...
Good luck and hope and know it will be fine soon. Great bike. 🤞🙏

Hi Nxkharra! Thanks for your response. I've had three motors in this bike and all have displayed this surging. And usually when this happens I'm in Turbo being pursued up a long steep grade and even though the pursuers are probably a fraction of my age, I still don't want to be caught. Next time I'll try less assist... And yes, it has been a great bike.

Here's a message to everyone with 2019 (or newer) Vado 5. I recently upgraded to the TCD-W display. MUCH better than the Bloks that was original equipment. On a recent ride and coasting downhill for 6 miles at speeds up to 45 the moment I had to pedal there was no power to the pedals. The display was lit. Has anyone had this happen? And will the TCD record this event for future diagnosing? Thanks
